I loved my cake!!! Seriously it was delicious and beautiful! I just wish I could have a piece every day. My husband and I got married in Cabo and wanted to take home a piece of our cake. Well I guess there is no such thing as instant cake. One week later and I am STILL craving one. I really enjoyed working with Mark. He was super sweet and creative and gave me exactly what I wanted. Seriously I had no idea what I wanted but he helped me come up with a great design. Another plus was working with a budget cake. I had a small cake for just the two of us and then cupcakes for the guests. The cake was gorgeous and delish and the cupcakes were adorable. Not only was the cake yummy but it was so beautiful. Seriously the most gorgeous cake. The colors were amazing and it was so detailed. Seriously it was like a piece of art. And to top it off it was delicious!!! Seriously the best cake I have ever had. And Mark is the best. He is so sweet, artistic, creative, and really listens to what you want. Seriously so lucky to have him be our cake maker.
I think that is all. I am seriously rambling. My point is…get your cake from Alice’s here! Yummy and gorgeous!

I made a cake order appointment on the phone. Showed them a picture of what I wanted and it was for a 100 person party. They still offered to do what we wanted. We went in for an appointment. Took a picture of what we wanted and it was not a problem. They had the cake flavors we wanted. We were set. The day of the wedding our cake was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. It was exactly what we wanted. It tasted amazing also! We had 2 flavors. Cookies and cream and chocolate. Both were great! I would order from them again for any occasion. Also I called them a month after ordering to see about having the top of our cake for our 1 year anniversary. They offered it to us for free. It was in our freezer and it has not held up well. But we decided to eat it anyway. It tasted great and it was free! What more could you ask for! Then I went to go back to the store to leave a tip for the delivery people. They were not there. Their delivery people left a note. It said something along the lines of “If you don’t want a tip. Don’t offer us one. We don’t need it. " I was a little surprised by this. I couldn’t resist writing a note back saying that I would still leave a tip. Just in case. They brought the tip amount to the store the next day. The note they left was on the scale that was in the bakery when we ordered. It said “Tip amount or Cost of cake? We don’t need it. " So I wrote back “Cost of cake. We need it. It is part of our order. " Their note was then changed to say “If you don’t want a tip. Don’t deliver. We don’t need it. " So now I had to go back to the store to change the amount. But I did leave a tip. Just in case. Overall I would say use them. Just book them at your location. Make sure they know what you want. Also one thing that stood out to me was when we did the tasting. We tried the cake in 4 different forms. 2 cupcakes and 2 slices of cake. For $10. I thought that was a little expensive for some of the cake. But it was the whole package. I thought that was fair. They also were going to charge us an extra $75 to put a small fondant dragon on the cake. I thought “For What? So he can stare at it the whole time? " So I asked what it was for. They said that they add it in as a line on the fondant. So I said I would prefer to do it myself. They offered to help for free. That was nice. Overall I would say they were great to work with. The cake was amazing!

I don’t even know where to begin. My experience with Mrs. Jackson, owner/chef was so personal, professional, passionate and above all ELOVE. She truly has a deep love for food and her customers and it shows in her recipes, her presentation and her customer service.

I had the privilege of working with Chef Jackson on a special project and it was such an honor to see her vision come to life through the hard work, dedication and passion of her staff (especially my talented co-chefs/right hand women Christine and Emely). Their hard work, passion, dedication and love for Chef Jackson and the mission of the restaurant was evident in the service they provided and the quality of the food (oh my…). The tasting, the presentation, the communications, the organization and coordination of the entire catering team was STR1END. Seriously. 10/10.

Chef Jackson not only led my team for a massive, multi-tentenational, multi-city project, but she personally delivered, set up, provided platters, displayed, bartended, managed, supervised, coached, directed, organized, negotiated, problem-solved and literally BEATRACED across several time zones, cities, countries, disciplines and culinary styles to make this project a success. No easy feat. And I could not have done it without you, Mrs. Jackson. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
