I have had a love/hate relationship with cake my whole life. So when it came to our wedding, I knew that I wanted to do something different than just having cake. I decided that I wanted to do cheesecake for our wedding, and Baby Jane’s was one of two places that I could choose to do the cheesecakes from. We went to a tasting that they offer, and I knew immediately that we would choose them. They made 8 different kinds of cheesecakes for us to try, and we decided to go with 3 kinds in different sizes- the Big Fat Greek, the The Ollaberry, and the More Creamery. They were so easy to work with, and we had so much fun going to the tasting and deciding what cheesecakes we wanted to do for our wedding. Our wedding was in Flagstaff, and the payment and delivery fee were very reasonable. The cheesecakes were a huge hit at our wedding- we had lines around the dessert table before the wedding was over. We will definitely be using them for our next event!

When we found out the the hospital where I work runs a baby show, we asked if we could bring a dummy cake to put on display. A couple days later, we got an email confirming we could do a dummy cake. We decided to make the dummy cake into a figure called ‘Mr. Baby.’ We emailed them a picture of ‘Mr. Baby’ and requested he be in a blue vest and diaper. They wrote back with a picture of a cake with a baby on top, and asked if we wanted the dummy to be in a vest and diaper or in a onesie. We decided to go with onesie since that would be more representative of a real baby. We then asked if they could make him ‘Mr. Baby’ with a tuxedo vest and a top hat. They agreed.

On the day of the baby show, they brought out the cake, and it was SO adorable!! Everyone loved it, and it was a great way to display it since it was in a large, clear, plastic, dome. They made an topper that said ‘Mr. Baby’ as well. The dome had two holes in it for the face to stick out out, and Mr. Baby was sticking out his head and smiling! The cake was SO cute!!

Since we had done a dummy cake, we decided to ask for another one for our friends who were having a baby in another few months. We did a second dummy cake, but this time Mr. Baby was in a vest, diaper, and a tuxedo! It was SO fun!!

The one thing we didn’t like was that Mr. Baby was made of foam and couldn’t really be touched, so we didn’t get to enjoy cutting the cake, but the cake was great and displayed beautifully, and that is really the most important thing!
