I would recommend Amy’s Pastry to anyone looking for the perfect wedding cake! I had done several tastings with other bakeries before making this appointment. Amy took my vision and made it a reality. She completely understood my vision for my cake. She was so easy to work with and helped to remove some of my fears for my big day. I can’t say enough great things about this bakery! I can’t wait to eat our cake on our anniversary! It was so yummy! My guests loved it too! I’m still getting compliments on my wedding cake! Amy’s Pastry is the best! I would love to do another tasting to pick our our our flavor! Thanks Amy for making our day so special! You rock! Christine E.

We are so glad to hear that you and your husband were pleased with our cake!

Our primary goal when making a wedding cake is to make sure that the cake tastes as good as it looks. And honestly, no other goal is even close. So it was very important to us that we chose a bakery that was not only great to work with, but also that the cakes taste as good as they look.

We have been to many weddings where the cake looks great, but tastes…eh. And we definitely don’t want that to be the case with your cake.

Amy’s Pastry Shop has been making cakes and pastries since 1968, so we knew that our wedding cake would be both delicious and beautiful.

We chose three layers to make our cake: marble cake and chocolate mousse in the middle layer, and white cake with raspberry filling in the top and bottom layer. We chose white buttercream on the outside.

We chose a very simple design for our cake, and we were extremely pleased with how it turned out.

We hope that you and your husband were pleased with your wedding cake. We certainly were.

So when it came time for our wedding cake, it was a no brainer. Their cakes are amazing and can only be described as, “Heaven sent”. I am a Chef and so I really feel like our role in all of this was to give the cake that special “twist” and for Amy’s to deliver, well… they delivered.
It is so easy to work with them, they have so many different flavor and design choices and they are extremely flexible with whatever you want to create. I am a cake fanatic and so I really wanted our cake to be show stopping. Well, it was. I was beyond impressed with the final product and so were our guests. The bottom layer was in the shape of the USA (I wanted to make my own cake topper, but alas, it is not possible on a cake… unless you pay WAYYY more than we did at Amy’s). The middle layer was in the shape of the state of Texas and on top was our cake topper. The entire cake was covered in a vanilla buttercream frosting and the design was exactly as I had wanted it. It was absolutely stunning. Not to mention, it was delicious. We had so many options to chose from for flavors, fillings and cake types, etc. that you cannot go wrong. We chose a marble cake with dark chocolate mousse and white cake with raspberry filling. It was awesome!!!
I cannot say enough great things about Amy’s Pastry. They are the BEST!!!
