I had Bluebird Ice Cream 3 times while doing my taste testing. I wanted to eat the whole thing once I found out how good it was. My husband couldn’t go with me on the first visit, but on my next visit I brought along my mom and we had a great time. I talked the owner into making a sundae bar with all kinds of different ice cream flavors. I was a little concerned that it would end up too rich since we’d be serving it with whipped cream, but the owner made sure we’d have some lighter fluffy whipped cream and some Bavarian cream that would be less rich. We ended up with 3 different ice cream flavors: chocolate, choc. peanut butter crunch, and cookies n' cream. The owner even did a really great job making signs for the different flavors. Our sundae bar was a huge hit! We had a bunch of different-flavored ice cream in cubes and cups. We also had fresh cut strawberries in a syrup that the owner made. It was all so delicious! The final product was gorgeous and so tasty! We got to customize our flavor line-up, create our own flavor combos, and do it all in a really cool atmosphere. The owner talked to me about some of the crazy flavors they’ve done in the past (chocolate ice cream with peanut butter cups, anyone?!) and seemed really creative, which is a plus. I’m really looking forward to eating our wedding cake!
