My husband and I decided to go with a funfetti cake for our wedding cake. (Honestly, who doesn’t love funfetti?!?) We had a unique idea of presenting our cake with two flags, one on each tier. The bakery was more than willing to accommodate this request… except they needed the flags to be the specific flag of the country we were in, and the specific flag’s color scheme. I’m not going to lie, I was a little bummed about this. It wasn’t a deal breaker, just something I was a little disappointed about. Other than that, everything was smooth sailing. The day before the wedding, we dropped off the flags we wanted (country flag and colors of our wedding). Everything was simple and easy, and it was one less thing we had to worry about! The day of our wedding, when we arrived to the reception hall, our cake was displayed on the cake table, looking exactly as we had hoped for. Even better, it was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend Bonnie B. for your wedding needs, no matter what your cake-worthy requests! (The bonus? Their cakes are BEAUTIFUL! But that’s not really a reason to choose them, that’s just a fact.)

My husband and I are big on supporting local small businesses, and it was important to us to use a vendor that was local. Bonnie B. Bakery was recommended to us by a friend, and we are so glad we chose them. From our first tasting to our wedding day, we had a great experience. They were so helpful and accommodating and gave us a lot of great suggestions for our cakes. They also made our delicious cake very beautiful. We had a simple rustic design with fresh flowers, and our guests were raving about how delicious the cake was. We chose three flavors for our different tiers: red velvet, chocolate, and lemon with raspberry. The cake was very moist, the buttercream was delicious, and the ratio of cake to buttercream was spot on. We LOVE their pies, so at our wedding we had a tier of blueberry and then pumpkin with a maple syrup buttercream. Our kids can’t wait to have another portion next week! We couldn’t be happier with our cake and are so glad we chose them.
