My husband and I are SO glad we chose Buttercream Bakeshop to do our wedding cake. Their cakes are not only beautiful, but delicious! We chose to do a small, three-tiered cake with cupcakes in the back. Our cake was custom designed to match our wedding colors and had our wedding information on the side. We had three flavors of cupcakes: chocolate, vanilla and red velvet with buttercream and cream cheese filling. They were sooo good!

On our wedding day, they set up our cake and cupcakes on our cake table all by themselves! They were so professional and so easy to work with. They are very talented and had no problem making the best cake in the world! Our guests could not stop talking about how good the cupcakes were! Thank you so much Buttercream Bakeshop for creating the most amazing cake in the whole world!

We were on the hunt for the perfect wedding cake that would taste as good as it looked. After tasting cakes at various bakeries, we were concerned that the cakes would be too sweet. (We are not huge fans of sugary sweet desserts, but want a beautiful and tasty cake.) Buttercream Bakeshop sounded like a great option, but their prices and website gave us pause. When we went for a tasting, we were blown away by how DELICIOUS the cakes were. We were looking for something outside the standard yellow or chocolate cake, and they offered some really great options including Lavender, Ginger, Lemon Raspberry, and Blueberry Spice. After our tasting, we decided that we would choose one of each, and could not be happier with our decision. The cakes are not only delicious, but the designs are beautiful. We were looking for something simple and elegant, and Buttercream got the balance just right. They also offered an option to have a separate small cake for our families, which was a great bonus. They do not use a pre-made mix, but instead make the cake from scratch, and it shows. The icing also has real strawberries and green leaves, and the cake itself is moist and flavorful. At Buttercream, we decided on two cakes–the lavender cake with Lemon Raspberry filling, and the ginger cake with Blueberry Spice filling. On the wedding day, the cake was just as beautiful as we had imagined it. The filling flavors were delicious, and it was still super moist and flavorful after being frozen and thawed several times. Our guests raved about how good the cake was. We were so happy with our decision to go with Buttercream, and cannot wait for our anniversary cake! (Not that we will be able to hold off that long…)
