We found out about Rossana through a friend. From the beginning we were very impressed with her. She took her time to explain all the different types of cakes and the different flavors. She was very professional and friendly. Once we decided on the flavors and the design everything was easy. She kept in touch and gave us her honest opinion on what would look better and what wouldn’t. On our wedding day we got to see our cake in person for the first time. When we got there, she actually gave us a hug, which was so sweet. She was really involved in the decoration, picking the right colors and flowers. It looked amazing. It tasted even better. We had 3 different flavors and our guests kept complementing the different kinds that they liked. It was so good that we didn’t have any leftovers. The cake was really good, the decoration was amazing and the friendly personality of Rossana made us feel very comfortable. I am sure that our wedding would be a lot less special if it weren’t for her.

We found out about Cakes and Pastries By Rossana on the radio. We called the shop and spoke with her. She was very nice. We went for the tasting. We had 4 flavors of cupcakes. We chose red velvet, s’chillin', vanilla with rasberry filling and a chocolate mousse filling. We also had 2 flavors of cake. We chose chocolate with chocolate mousse and white cake with white chocolate filling. We brought her a picture of how we wanted the cupcakes to look. She was very nice and took our ideas. We also ordered some chocolate covered strawberries. We wanted the chocolate on top, of course, in our flavors of cake. We also wanted the date and our name on the top. She said she could do this. Before we wrote the check for the cake, she asked if we wanted to save money. We did not. We wrote the check and I called her to find out when we would get the cake. She said, as long as we brought her a picture of the finished product, she could make it look exactly how we wanted. We found the perfect picture on the internet and called her. We wanted a wooden cutout of a tree, with our 2 flavors of cake on top. She said she could do this. We wrote the check again and I gave her the picture. The cake was beautiful. I wish I could post pictures on the internet. I will try to find a way. :) We got a lot of compliments on the cake. We also ordered some chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberries were huge! So I had an unusual wedding cake request - I wanted a surprise grooms cake. The groom is not a big fan of cake and I figured a grooms cake would be the easiest way to get a flavor he likes (carrot cake). So this cake place makes THE BEST CARROT CAKE YOU HAVE EVER EATEN (I am a baker myself) so it was an obvious choice. But I wanted more then just a plain cake. I wanted a logo, a picture of our dog, a jersey with our school logo, and of course the carrot cake in a hockey helmet (my husbands school). So not only do they make the BEST CARROT CAKE YOU WILL EVER TASTE, but they were able to make all of this happen for me. I was able to have a piece of cake that looked like everything I wanted. All of our dogs got a piece and I got a HUGE piece with my husband in a hockey helmet. It was everything I could have hoped for. PLUS they were able to do it all while having me as a patient in the hospital the day of the wedding. It was like a dream. A cake place that can not only make the best carrot cake ever, but can make a bride’s dream cake. I will never use any other place to get a cake in the future. It was amazing.
