We used Ben and Jerry’s for our dessert bar at our wedding at the end of September. We did an ice cream tasting at the South FL location a few months ago and it was awesome. They worked with us to create a custom ice cream bar with ice cream, sprinkles and chocolate sauce. We had so much fun at our tasting picking the flavors we wanted for our wedding! I loved that we could have different flavors for different tiers of our wedding cake. I also loved that we didn’t have to worry about keeping the ice cream frozen for the duration of the event. It just needed to be served immediately at the wedding. We had a really fun time choosing the flavors we wanted for our wedding. We had fun flavors like Pink Champagne and Cookie Mountain. We also had more traditional flavors like Double Fudge Brownie and Salted Caramel. Our guests had a ton of fun and we got a ton of compliments. I also loved the look of the ice cream bar. We asked them to make sprinkles in the shape of snowflakes and mountains. It turned out awesome! Ben and Jerry’s was great to work with and we are really looking forward to our free first anniversary popsicle!

Ben and Jerry’s are the perfect caterers for a vegan wedding. They have the ability to make delicious vegan and gluten-free ice cream suitable for a wedding. They are also able to make every bowl, every cupcake, and every spoon at the wedding vegan. This flexibility is awesome and allows vegans to enjoy wedding cake while non-vegans can enjoy ice cream.

The ice cream is delivered to the venue and is served from a truck! This is so unique and interesting, it is a great addition to the ice cream catering. Being able to have an ice cream truck at the wedding allows people to eat ice cream during the reception, which is perfect for a wedding where everyone is on the dance floor.

The whole process was easy. My husband and I had ice cream tastings at the company’s headquarters. We chose three ice creams that we wanted to try. We had six bowls for six different flavors, and the company’s staff mixed and matched different flavors in each bowl to make our tastings custom to us. After we chose flavors, we had meetings to choose how we wanted the ice cream to look. We wanted a wedding cake ice cream cup, so they showed us different designs that we liked. We then finalize the flavors, the amount, and the number of trucks that we needed.

I will mention that they are very strict about one thing. We are urethane peels (like choclate), but we wanted to use urethane so it doesn’t melt in warmer weather. They said that they could not guarantee the peel will stay in the freezer. They said that they could try to insert each peel, but they would not be able to guarantee it. They suggested that we get each peel inserted with super glue. We did, and it worked out. I just want to make sure this is known in advance, so that people who want to use urethane peels don’t have to worry as much!

After we chose the flavors and the design, they walked us through the order form. We chose how often we wanted them to drop off the ice cream (every hour), the time the ice cream needed to be frozen (twice as many hours), and the number of bowls (customary).

After we paid, they gave us detailed instructions about labeling, which flavors went with which bowls, and where to send the serving spoons for a souvenir.

On the day of the wedding, the ice cream was delicious and everyone enjoyed having an ice cream truck at the wedding. I know a couple who had ice cream in common, so they gave one of each flavor to my husband and to me. Now they have ice cream every weekend for lunch!

As a wedding caterer, I will definitely be using ben and jerry’s for events. They are easy to work with, they make delicious ice creams, and they are flexible. Thank you!

Our wedding at Sandpearl Resort was a dream come true. We had the best wedding ever thanks to Ben and Jerry’s. From the first email to the final touch; they were easy to communicate with and totally in tune with what we wanted. The flavors, the ice cream, the toppings; BONUS. The day of the wedding, we had a picture perfect setup on the beach with our penguin friend. The ice cream was so delicious that for one day we were able to leave our honeymoon and come back to eat some more ice cream. The prices were great and they even helped us out by making our ice cream sandwiches more kid friendly. Thank you for making our wedding perfect. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or a big event. They really are the best and they know it!!
