So I’ll start off by saying I am not a cake eater. I usually don’t even eat cake at weddings. I was never going to have a wedding cake, until my wedding was saved from being a ghost tour by a cake! So I found Bake Bar on the Knot and fell in love. I live in California but got married in Miami and the Bake Bar was very accommodating and mailed me samples of their cakes. I ordered some more to try it out and couldn’t believe how yummy it was. It was so light and not too sweet, but full of flavor. I had a good amount of samples left and knew I had to have a cake for the wedding. I called and placed the order, and chose the delivery option (because the venue was in Brickell and I live in La Jolla). They were so helpful and I was so happy! I got to choose all the details and the flavors for my wedding cake and it turned out to be not just the best wedding cake I’ve ever had, but one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Everyone loved it. It was so yummy! People were even asking for seconds. I was super impressed. My wedding was saved from being a ghost tour by a cake! I actually cried when I found out it was a cake. It was tears of joy, because cake was the best thing that happened to my wedding. Thank you Bake Bar for making the best wedding cake ever!

The Bake Bar was the wedding cake vendor included in the cost of our hotel. We are so happy we found them! I am not a fan of cake and when I saw the array of possible flavors at our tasting I was a little disappointed that we did not get to pick more flavors. However, we have never had a better piece of cake in our life so we were willing to sacrifice a little selection for great tasting. We had a large wedding and we were not sure if we wanted to do a 2 tier cake or a grooms cake. They listened to our request to do both and even let us have 2 different flavor combinations! The hotel coordinator took care of everything and 2 days before the wedding the delivery person hand delivered the cake to our venue 2 miles outside of the city. We got so many compliments on how delicious our cake was. We are so happy with our choice to use the Bake Bar!
