Perfection! Mary Lou was recommended to us by our Wedding Venue and as soon we received an invite to our taste test we knew we wanted her to create our Wedding Candy. The candy favors were the talk of the wedding. Everyone loved them! From the intricate detail on each candy to the color detail. They were like works of art. They even tasted great! Our large group wedding was held in the Florida Keys and with the custom colors to match our theme we knew Mary Lou would be able to create what we were looking for.
We had a destination wedding and were unable to meet with Mary Lou prior to the wedding. We sent her images of the colors we wanted and the theme of our wedding and she created exactly what we wanted.
On our wedding day she delivered the candy directly to our Key Lime House and left a detail of a custom candy on our porch for us to find the next morning. Our wedding was on April 1, 2017 and in August we were able to travel to Palm Beach Gardens to meet with Mary Lou. We brought her new images of the colors we wanted and a revised theme. She not only agreed to make the candy but was excited to create something new.
We are beyond happy with our choice to use Cake and Candy Designs by Mary Lou and can’t wait for our anniversary to share more of our delicious Key Lime Treats with each other. Mary Lou thank you for being a part of our wedding day and for creating the perfect Candy for our Bridal Shower!

We used Cake and Candy for our wedding in August. I could not be happier with their service. They were so easy to work with and accommodating to our schedule (we are from NY/NJ and were in Florida for our wedding) for the taste testing. We picked 5 flavors to try and the girl we met with came up with some samples to try.

We absolutely loved the flavors we picked and knew we wanted to go with them. Mary Lou took all of our comments and created a cake that reflected all of the great things about our couple. She worked with us on the look (we wanted a cake that had some zebra print and was colorful) as well as the flavors.

We absolutely love the cake and the fact that we have some left over and were able to take it home is great. We will definitely be using her for future events. It was a pleasure to work with them and we’d highly recommend them.
