My husband and I were so excited to meet with Laurie to design our cake, as we had heard so many great things about her. The day of our meeting we were so excited to see her. She was very sweet and personable. We had our little one with us and she made him a little cake so that he could share in the excitement. She showed us different pictures of cakes that she had made and was very open to our ideas but had definite opinions of her own. We left very excited and hoping that we would be able to find what we were looking for in her book. On the day of, our cake was absolutely amazing. It was better than we could have ever imagined. She had made our cake the way we had wanted it, with some ideas of her own. The flavors were perfect and everything was so beautiful. We had three layers: vanilla cake with strawberry filling, marble cake with cookies and cream filling, and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. All of them were so delicious. Our whole experience with Laurie was perfect. We will definitely be using her for our cake needs in the future!
