A Slice of Joy was so wonderful to work with! They were very helpful and patient when I was deciding on what cake design I wanted! They really helped me to find the perfect cake for me and my husband. When we had our first cake tasting, they gave us time alone to try all the flavors we wanted. They were very responsive to my questions and emails and just a wonderful family to work with! When I saw the cake for the first time, I just said WOW! It was absolutely beautiful!! We received so many compliments on the design of the cake, but also the flavors! The flavors were all so delicious! We had chocolate, raspberry and almond and they were all great! The cake was moist and not too sweet! It was just perfect! We can not wait to eat the top layer on our anniversary!! We will definitely be using them for our cake needs in the future!

A Slice of Joy was one of the two vendors recommended by our venue. I had read the mixed reviews and wasn’t sure how they would turn out, but was more than happy! A Slice of Joy did a wonderful job. From the start, they were easy to work with. I was able to do a cake tasting on the list of flavors they offer. I picked my 3 top favorites (marble, peach and almond) and they made them into 3 mini cakes so I could try all of them! The cakes were all sooooo good! I ended up choosing the almond cake with peach filling and a cream cheese crust. The cake turned out BEAUTIFUL and it was delicious! I was also able to pick a different flavor for each layer. They also did a second cake for my husband (Louisiana-style king cake with hazelnut filling). His cake was delicious and so unique! We are both big cake lovers and were very excited to have a different (and delicious!) king cake for him. The mini king cakes were a big hit at the wedding! I highly recommend A Slice of joy. They did an awesome job!

A Slice of Joy is a small bakery with some really BIG flavors! I knew I wanted to do a wedding cake that didn’t require eating, and A Slice of Joy has some amazing flavors! They were very easy to work with and accommodating of our slightly non-standard cake size (we wanted a three-tiered cake that was a little smaller than usual to fit with our “small bites” concept). We ended up doing a vanilla cake with caramel filling…goodness, this is amazing! Then we did some other flavors in sheet cakes to do the other two layers. The finished product was gorgeous and delicious! We had some leftover and we honestly had no idea what to do with it! Thank goodness we found Tristan from A Slice of Joy who turned our leftover cake into a beautiful surprise for my wife!

My wife and I loved the cake, and now we are counting down the days until our one year anniversary when we can break out the leftover cake!
