Where do I begin with how much I loved working with Bill and Rhodes Bakery.? Bill is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is so personable and kind and has a heart of gold. His passion for baking is clearly shown in the work that he does. Not only do his cakes look AMAZING, they also taste delicious! We had such a hard time selecting a cake flavor, shape, size and design, because we liked them all! Bill and Rhodes Bakery have so many options available, we had a hard time deciding. Bill also went out of his way to make sure that my husband and I had a private tasting, to make sure that we picked the exact cake that we wanted. On our wedding day, I was in awe of my wedding cake. It was so beautiful, I didn’t want to cut into it! But I am glad that I did, because it tasted delicious! I would highly recommend Rhodes Bakery, Bill is so talented and kind. He really went above and beyond, to make sure that our cake was exactly what we wanted. I could not thank him enough!

If you haven’t experienced a Rhodes Bakery cake, you don’t know what you’re missing. I grew up on Rhodes cakes and my wedding cake was no exception. We met about 2 years before the wedding at a bridal show and were able to sample some of their cake options. When it came time to select a cake vendor, my mom and I had a hard time choosing because ALL of their options were awesome. We ended up choosing 2 flavors. The wedding cake was a 4 tier cake, with the flavors alternating between tiers. We chose the traditional raspberry and royal wedding cakes, but with the raspberry being made with fresh raspberries! Yum! The decor on the cake was a beach theme, based on a photo we brought. The cake decor was done in sugar and looked amazing. Everyone said the cake was delicious, and it was. I also had a sheet cake of the same flavors so we had cake for a crowd! The groom’s cake was to be made in the shape of a golf ball, with the wedding date and the groom’s last name written on the ball. This was my idea, since I am not a fan of the traditional golf course design. I was a little surprised when I saw the cake on the wedding day, as it was much bigger than I expected, and the date/last name was just written with fondant, but it looked great and was delicious! I loved it so much, I ate the rest of the cake after the wedding! If you’re looking for delicious cakes, done right, at a reasonable price, you should check out Rhodes Bakery!
