I have to say that Barrels and Binning has the best cake out of all the cake vendors in the north western suburbs of Chicago. We met with Chrissy and learned a lot about the different flavor options and combinations. We decided on vanilla cake with chocolate fudge and Bailey’s buttercream. We decided on a cake that could serve 100-130 guests. At the wedding rehearsal and at the wedding, we had many guests tell us that the cake was delicious. We also had a personalized cake topper of us on a skateboard. The personalized cake topper was a gift from my parents. When it arrived, we were very impressed. However, on the wedding day, the cake topper was misplaced. We found it later and were able to place it on the cake. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Barrels and Binning. The cake was delicious and customized just for us. We will be ordering a small cake from there for our one year anniversary.

Barrels and bins is the absolute best! My husband and I went to their Lincoln store to do some tasting and get some cake ideas together. We were so enthralled by their cakes, we decided to go with them right away. The staff was so helpful and so knowledgeable. We had a great experience and got exactly what we were looking for! When we went to book our date, they actually had a book for us so we could see right there in the store what we had selected. We got our cake, we got our favors, and we were good to go! On our wedding day we were so excited to see our cake and get our favors. They did not disappoint! The cake was AMAZING and the favors were so cute and so yummy! Our guests loved them! Barrels and bins makes the cakes taste just as good as they look! I highly recommend them if you want the best!

Our cake was delicious! Our guests loved it! We did cupcakes on top of a round cake and everyone commented on how it tasted like a real cupcake! We did a vanilla cake with raspberry filling, chocolate with fudge filling, and carrot cake with cream cheese filling all with vanilla buttercream icing. Our favorite was the chocolate and fudge, so we put that in the back of our freezer for our first anniversary. We also had a white cake with a filling of raspberry mouse (highly recommend) and a layer of chocolate mouse (highly recommend) and a layer of cream cheese filling and vanilla buttercream icing. The cake was moist and the fillings were so good. Our tasting was great, they let us taste everything and even brought us coffee and hot chocolate. They were very professional and everything came out perfect. They also put our custom made topper on the cake and it looked great! We were so happy with how everything turned out and we can’t wait to dive into the top layer in a year. If you want a cake that tastes delicious and comes with a 1 year guarantee then we highly recommend Barrels and Bins!
