We hired Kari to bake our wedding cake, and we were absolutely blown away. First, the cake tasting was amazing and gave us a lot of great ideas for flavors and combinations. Second, Kari’s personality is so personable and she was wonderful to work with. She is a true professional and made the cake tasting experience so much fun! I also loved that we were able to take a few different flavors of cake and fillings to share with our friends and family that couldn’t join us for the tasting. They all raved about it. Third, the cake is so delicious. Fourth, the cake is so beautiful. She created exactly what we wanted. She was always available and accommodating. She also helped me surprise my now husband with a chocolate groom’s cake. Both cakes were just perfect. I highly recommend Bakes by Kari!

Kari makes BAKERIES go with out a fan. I have had two cakes made by Kari in the last year and they were both hits. That said, having tasted her cakes, I knew she would be the one to bake our cake. I was not wrong. When I think of wedding cakes, three things come to mind: Taste, looks and flexibility. Kari has it all. We had a tasting and her cakes taste amazing. She has a lot of unique flavors and she can mix and match any flavors you want. What i love the most is that she is very creative and will tailor your cake to your event. I told her what I was looking for and she delivered. The cake was gorgeous and it tasted great. She also made us a grooms cake. She also makes other baked goods like cupcakes, cookies, tarts, etc. If you are looking for a bakery, Bakes by Kari should be your number one choice. I will continue to support her business by buying her cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other baked goodies. Thank you Kari.

My husband and I went to a wedding festival and BAK ended up being the one stop shop for both of our cakes. We met with Kari, who was so gracious and easy to talk to. She had so many example cakes in front of us and was very helpful in the decision making.

Let’s get to the cakes, they were SO AMAZING. We had a white cake with raspberry cream cheese frosting (also had chocolate and almond). The cake was perfectly moist and light. Not too sweet but just right. Hands down some of the best cake I’ve ever eaten.

We also had a carrot cake with vanilla cream cheese frosting (this one was out of this world, seriously the best carrot cake I’ve ever had). We had so much leftover that we were able to eat leftover cake for days after the wedding.

Not only are their cakes delicious but they are also GORGEOUS. They have so many cake stands to choose from and all were very accommodating.

We also did a dessert bar with all different types of bite sized desserts (we did cookies and cream, cake pops, and mini cupcakes). Everyone just devoured them and said how delicious all of the desserts were.

I also have to say that the team is just wonderful to work with. They are very responsive and you always have someone’s phone number saved in your phone in case you need it.
