We could not have asked for a better wedding cake! From the beginning Isabel was fantastic, helping us to plan our cake as a destination bride and groom. She let us try different kinds of cake at the tasting and then gave us exactly what we were looking for. Her creativity was amazing and her price was unbeatable! The cake was absolutely delicious and we got countless compliments! We even had family move a slice onto their plane back to California!!

We were so excited about our cake that we decided to order our wedding favors from her as well! We did a mystery favor with a $25 value! We loved getting the box of chocolates! We had the choice of three delicious flavors and the box was perfect for taking on the plane! We loved the quality and variety!

Overall we could not have asked for a better experience! From the taste to the creativity to the price and service Cakes by Isabel was perfect! We could not wait to take the cake home after the wedding! It was that good!

We were able to have a tasting, choose the type of cake we wanted, pick the flavors and fillings we wanted, and they also made the selections for us. It was very personalized. We had the option of using the plastic containers that the fillings and flavors were in so we didn’t have to bring back any leftovers. Our cake was waiting for us when we arrived at the reception site. It was beautiful! We were able to select a different flavored cake for each layer and a different filling for each layer. It was great to have the different options. We also were able to have them incorporate some decorative frosting flakes from our wedding colors into the icing on the cake. The pricing was reasonable and their pricing was on the website. They were very accomodating.

We had a great experience with Isabel and Cakes by Isabel. We went to her home for the tasting and she was so excited to make the cake we want. She told us of some of the cakes she has made and the different flavors she offers. She is such a friendly person and we had a hard time deciding on the flavors of the cakes. We ended up deciding on carrot cake with cream cheese filling and white cake with raspberry filling. The outside of the cake was white with some sugar flowers and it was absolutely beautiful. We were very happy with our wedding cake. We also had some sheet cakes to help feed all our guests. They were delicious! We were a little disappointed that we were advised that we could not have a sparkler on the cake (it was supposed to be a winter wedding) and that we could not have a sparkler light string around the cake. It was still a beautiful cake and we were very happy, just a little bummed out about the lighting string. We were very happy with our entire experience. Isabel was great to work with and our cake turned out delicious and beautiful! We were a little disappointed with the things we were told we couldn’t do, just wished they would have discussed these things sooner. Other than that, we were very happy with our wedding cake! She also includes a fresh cake top in her price so that on your one year anniversary you can order a fresh layer of your wedding cake! How awesome! We can’t wait to have her make us a cake on our one year anniversary.

Our wedding cake was delicious! It was exactly the way I wanted it. Our wedding cake was delicious! It was exactly the way I wanted it. It was not too sweet and not to sweet either. It was just right. Another thing that was great was that I asked her to make a little surprise grooms cake. I wanted a cheese cake and she did a great job. It was so realistic and his favorite cake was great. She made me a small cheese cake that was also great. I can’t wait to have our first anniversary cake. You also get a free 6" round cake on your anniversary so you don’t have to save the top of your cake. For those of you who like to plan ahead (like me) this is a great place to go. They also give you a free cake on your 1 year anniversary so you don’t have to eat the freezer-burned top!!
