Shelly and her team are amazing! My husband and I are based in Texas but wanted a Wichita cake for our wedding. Thanks to Shelly and her staff, we had a great experience and beautiful cake! It was so fun at the tasting to pick out different flavors for each layer and different designs. Shelly was very responsive to any questions we had and the cake looked and tasted amazing! We had a hard time choosing our flavors (so good!) and ended up getting four different flavors. The design was just as we imagined and tasted delicious! The cake was moist and flavorful. I could go on and on about our experience with Buckingham Cakes! Thanks for everything! We will definitely be back for future celebrations. P.S. - if you’re looking for a great cake at a great price, look no further!

Shelly and her team are the absolute best! We got to meet her and try different flavors of cupcakes (enough to pick and choose what we wanted) and then had an amazing cake tasting where we got to try all kinds of different cakes, fillings and icings! We were able to pick and choose what we wanted from the flavors she offers! Everything was absolutely amazing! The cake was sooooooo amazing! The cake was so moist and everything we wanted it to be! She even offered to get us other flavors of cake and cupcakes if we wanted! The absolute best! She let us borrow a cake stand for the wedding too! We got all kinds of compliments on how great our cake tasted and how great it looked! We couldn’t be happier! Our wedding day was so much fun with the cupcakes and the cake! We love you Shelly and your team so much!

We found out about this bakery from my parents, who have been using them for years. We had a cake, cupcakes, and cookies for our wedding, and all were fantastic! They were very accommodating, and we got to sample all of our choices at an event where we got to meet the owners. We had a delicious champagne cake with raspberry filling and pink champagne frosting. The cupcakes were chocolate, vanilla, and pink champagne, and the cookies were Bavarian cream-filled macadamia nut cookies. DELICIOUS! They also used the cake to make a groom’s cake, and it was perfect! The staff was so great at making sure we had everything we wanted. I wanted to have a monogram on our cake, and they were able to create one that was perfect for us! I highly recommend this bakery for your event- they were so great at making everything easy and delicious!

I had a picture of what I wanted my wedding cake to look like and Tracy created a sketch that was just what I had imagined! The cake looked even better than I had imagined! The cake was moist and flavorful. I chose lemon with blueberry filling for one tier and strawberry with cream cheese for another. Both were fabulous! I even had a friend who told me that it was the best tasting wedding cake she had ever eaten! The cake was so good that I had her make a smaller version for my sister’s wedding which was coming up at the same time. I am a cake snob, and have very high standards when it comes to cake. I am not a fan of overly sweet frosting and only eat frosting when it is creamy and delicious. Tracy’s frosting is light and fluffy and not overly sweet. Her cakes are moist, flavorful, and the perfect amount of sweet. I love her!

I had no idea what I wanted for a wedding cake and Jay suggested cupcakes. I loved the idea and we decided on carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. We also decided to have a small 8" round cake of the same flavor made for just us to save for our one year anniversary. I called another bakery in the area and was told that if I ordered a dozen carrot cupcakes and a small carrot cake, they would cover the delivery and set up. Not only was this cake of pure carrot flavor, but it was so moist and delicious!! We ordered about a dozen carrot cupcakes and our small carrot cake. I could have ordered more, but I wanted to give people options. The price was great and the service was excellent. On the day of the wedding, the cake and cupcakes were delivered on time and arranged beautifully. I was very nervous as I had no idea what I wanted them to look like, but Jay did all the setup and it was perfect. We could not have asked for anything better! Thank you Jay and Buckingham Cakes!
