We had a small wedding with only 20 guests, so we really wanted to have a fabulous dessert. I looked at online reviews for Baum’s and decided we would give them a call. We met with manager Greg and he was very helpful. He let us sample as many desserts as we wanted and was very generous. We decided to go with a variety of desserts for our wedding day. We had 2 types of cupcakes, 2 types of dessert bars, 2 types of creme brulees, 2 types of cheesecakes, and 2 types of fresh fruit tarts. The prices were amazing! We were very impressed with the quality of the desserts and the low prices. The wedding day was perfect- our guests loved all the different desserts and we had leftovers for our anniversary. We were so impressed that we have recommended Baum’s to all our friends in the Baton Rouge area. We will definitely be using them for any event we have in the future.

We had a large wedding with 200+ guests and we needed to serve 150+ desserts. Our venue (The Audubon Tea Room) recommended Baum’s and so we contacted them and scheduled a tasting. We selected 3 different types of cake, fillings and icings. We also had 3 different types of cookies, 2 types of bars and 2 different types of pies. We received lots of compliments on the selection of food and it was all good!

The best part about working with them was the price! They were not the cheapest but they were very close and so much better than another bakery that we interviewed. We felt that the quality of their food was very good and so we placed our order.

The cake was great and so we had leftover cake after the wedding. We froze it and after 2 weeks we thawed it and ate it. It was still good and so we decided to make a second cake from the leftover ingredients to have some more. We ran out of something or other so we contacted Baum’s and they made us a third cake which was just as good as the first one. They are great and so we will continue to get desserts from them.
