Working with Tracy to create our wedding cake was like working with a true artist. We went for a cake tasting and she hand crafted each cake and filling flavor we wanted to taste. It was so hard to pick just two flavors for our cake. After months of planning and emailing back and forth, it was the celebration of my birthday that did it. We decided to pick French vanilla chai and lemon poppy seed with raspberry buttercream. It was hard to decide on the look too, but we picked an elegant, semi-naked, four tier cake with an ombre effect of pink and purple flowers. It was absolutely beautiful. She also made us macaroons, which were the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. Her attention to detail, passion for her art and customer service is top notch. I would highly recommend Cake Me Away for any event.

So I had this crazy idea to have a cookie table for my wedding since I love sweets and my husband doesn’t. I called Cake Away because their cookies are the most delicious cookies I’ve ever had. They came and set up this BEAUTIFUL table with all kinds of cookies, of course in our color scheme, and my guests could just take what they wanted and devour them. We got our wedding cake elsewhere but I still wanted to have a cake. So they made us a small cake with our wedding cake flavor, and then made another small cake with our wedding cake flavor but in traditional cake form. They placed this small cake at the top of our cookie table and cut the top off of our small wedding cake for the most breathtakingly beautiful and delicious cake I have ever seen or tasted. All our guests loved the idea of having a cookie table with all kinds of different cookies, and we even got to take the leftovers home! Amazing!

If I could give Renata a ten star review for her cake making skills, I would. We found her through our vendor, The Buttery, and after our tasting, we were hooked. We had a great time at the tasting, and she came recommended by the Buttery, so we went with it. We had an idea of what we wanted our cake to look like, and she went to the trouble of asking us for pictures of what we wanted. She also went above and beyond and made us our own little cake for the inside of our cake topper so we could have something to celebrate our different religions. It was the most wonderful cake I have ever seen. When I saw it in person, I was shocked at how well it turned out and how incredibly detailed it was. I can’t thank her enough. The most perfect cake I have ever seen and so detailed and beautifully made. I can’t wait for our anniversary so we can eat the topper!
