We decided to have a dessert table and bake-shop as part of our wedding reception. We wanted to do a dessert table that would include tres leches, chocolate with fudge, king cakes, king cake with cream cheese filling, and peach cobbler. We were told that we could not do tres leches or chocolate with fudge, and we were very sad. However, we were able to do king cakes (we chose pecan, blueberry, and strawberry-marshmallow) and peach cobbler. We had a tasting of the cakes, and also got to try the peach cobbler. It was so good! Our family loved the cakes and the peach cobbler, so we knew our guests would too. Our cake table and bake-shop was one of the highlights of our wedding. Everyone said how delicious the cakes were, and how neat it was to have a cake table at a wedding. We had a dummy cake made for the cake table, and also got to take the left-over peach cobbler to go. It was a great day, and we thank Baking on the Bayou for being a part of it!
