I ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and a side of carrot cake with butter cream frosting. Both cakes were beyond delicious; they were moist, perfectly sweet, and the right amount of dense/flavorful. I could not have was having them for dinner every night!

The wedding cake was stunning and simple, yet elegant. I gave Mariah a picture of a cake that I wanted and she was able to create something similar. I was able to do a vanilla butter cream icing, and two different types of flowers that I picked out from Anthropologie. The cake was so delicious that I cannot wait for our one year anniversary to eat the frozen top tier.

Batch is amazing! We had a tasting with Heather and got to try all of the flavors we wanted. We went with pumpkin roll and salted caramel. When I told her what our colors were for our wedding, she suggested using those as the colors for the cake. It was a fun collaboration to be part of.

After the tasting, it was hard to choose the designs. They were all so fun. We ended up picking a design that was pretty simple. When we showed her a picture of what we were looking for, she made a replica of that design.

Fast forward to the wedding. The cake was so fun! We loved the colors and how detailed the jack-o-lanterns were. It was a great touch. We also had some of our family in costume join us as our puppets joined in the fun. It made for a fun photo opp and they even got to see a little bit of Halloween fun. It was great!

It was a great cake. We had a good amount left over and even got to enjoy it for a few days. We even have the top layer in our freezer which is at least one small victory this month to celebrate our first anniversary.
