The cake tasting and selection process at Balducci’s was so easy! I worked with the Wedding Cake Specialist, Susan, and she was extremely helpful. My parents, husband, and I all went to the Bethesda location for an amazing tasting – we had a blast choosing our flavors and trying a variety of cakes. Once the flavors were chosen, Susan helped us choose the design of our cake. She was very patient as I was designing what I wanted. My cake was beautiful and so delicious! Unfortunately I was so busy during my wedding that I didn’t get to eat a ton of cake, but a piece of each flavor was incredible. I already can’t wait for our 1 year anniversary to eat our top tier!!! I highly recommend Balducci’s for anyone looking for a delicious cake at an affordable price.

I found Balduccis before COVID-19 hit and was planning on attending the cake tasting. Due to the pandemic, all of my cake planning ended up being within the last two months. When I did my tasting appointment in August, I felt in love with their cakes. The tasting was amazing and everything they presented was delicious. My husband and I requested three different cake flavors: lemon, vanilla, and chocolate. The only thing that was missing was a wedding cake design. I reached out to their wedding specialist, Rachel, and she did her best to come up with a design that I would like. On top of all that, Balduccis offered a special for couples to get a free small cake for their first anniversary! I will never forget how patient and helpful both Rachel and Melissa were throughout the process. On our wedding day, our cake was delivered on time and was exactly what we wanted! It was beautiful and the flavors were out of this world. I am so happy that we chose Balduccis and can’t thank them enough!
