So I’ve been dreaming about Blackbird doughnuts for a year and finally got to taste the magic. I was not disappointed. We got the glazed lemon, the chocolate with maple cream, and vegan gingerbread caramel macha. All were delicious. Our wedding cake was also done by Blackbird (a small cake for cutting) and was amazing - spice cake with apple filling. Our wedding was Halloween themed and needless to say the doughnuts fit right in. We also got a dozen vegan biscotti (a friend from Boston who can’t eat gluten liked the biscotti so much he convinced us to get the vegan version). We will definitely be going back for more. The staff was extremely helpful and we got everything we asked for. And the best part - they were completely affordable. The shop is very cute and the owners are great people. Go have a tasting - you won’t regret it!

I got married in June 2019 and had a June Bug Cake designed for my wedding. I could not have asked for a better vendor than the Blackbird Doughnuts. They were so helpful from the beginning with the ordering and designing the cake. The cake was so beautiful and tasted even better. We went with the three hottest flavors on their menu currently. During our cake tasting, we were able to pick two flavors and two fillings to finish off with. They were all so delicious and helpful in helping us pick the best ones to use for our cake. The ordering process was so easy. They were very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. They even made special “safe” gluten free cupcakes for our gluten free guests. The cake, fillings, and cupcakes were all SO delicious. I had wedding guests who were commenting on how awesome the cake was weeks after the wedding! I would pick this vendor again for any future events and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a creative cake vendor.

I don’t even know there are words to describe the phenomenal experience I had with hiring Blackbird Doughnuts for our wedding. From the moment I called them to set up a tasting to the day of the wedding… everything was so easy, so enjoyable, so delicious, and so incredibly affordable. I had a friend who recommended them to me, and I’m so glad he did because now I have a super awesome wedding vendor!

They were very helpful with coming up with a variety of flavors that everyone would like, and they even made an awesome custom doughnut for us to use as our “cutting cake” when it was time for us to cut the cake.

We ended up doing all catering, desserts, and the team for our wedding through Blackbird, and it was well beyond perfect. I’m already counting down the days until our first anniversary so I can indulge in more of their delectable delights.

This team is so professional, so friendly, so talented, and so responsive - I absolutely adore them, and I would hire them for any event, big or small. They’ve truly become my go-to doughnut shop!

My husband and I are very excited to have 2 new members of our family: Bird and Dough. My husband and I both LOVE their product and now that we have a child with an extreme sweet tooth, there wasn’t a doubt in our mind that we would get our wedding cake from Bird and Dough. We had our tasting with Paul who was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I had a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and he said that they would be able to replicate the picture but I wanted to be sure it was how I imagined it before I went ahead with the plan. I was very pleased with the final product and it was perfect. Now let’s get to the MOST important part….the taste. AMAZING!! We both love our sweets and it was a very difficult decision to narrow down all the amazing flavors to just 2 (we decided on chocolate cake with chocolate mouse and lemon cake with lemon filling - YUM!) We were so excited about our cakes that we decided to have a mini cake for our 1 year anniversary instead of freezing the top layer.
