I had been to Athan’s before for desserts but never a full cake. I love their baklava. I told them that if the cake is good, it doesn’t matter what else it looks like. They made a delicious cake and it looked wonderful! They even made a special box to save the top layer for our anniversary. What price glory!

We had one more wedding to go after this one. When it will be is beyond me. I am already working on the next event. I am thinking soon!

The cake: Orange blossom with a chocolate ribbon. It was delicious! The cost: Athan’s European Bakery is one of my favorite bakeries. Their prices cannot be beat. The cost was for a cake that was about 15” tall and 12” wide. It served about 60 people. The decorator: The cake was beautiful! The price was right and the service was even better! If you don’t want to worry about saving the top layer for your anniversary, I would recommend going to Athan’s for your wedding cake. They will bake you a fresh cake on your one year anniversary. I don’t even know there to begin. My fiancee and I took a trip to Europe to plan our wedding. While in Europe we both wanted macaroons with our coffee in the morning. ATHAN’S HAD THIS EXQUISITE MACAROON WITH OUR NAME ON IT!! We had a wonderful time in Europe and that was just the beginning…We went to all the top vendors in Europe and ATHAN had THE BEST PRICE!!! It was a no brainer. We had the best cake, cupcakes, and macaroons ever. They even had a wonderful European style cake with EXQUISITE hand made decorations. We had so many compliments on our wedding, not only from our guests but from other owners of venues we spoke to. They are THE BEST EVER!!! We now have them make our mothers 50th wedding anniversary cake. It’s only been a year since our wedding. We can’t wait to have more events in our future to use ATHAN!!! Ever since our wedding we have been huge fans!!!

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful our wedding cake was! We have very different tastes, and when I tell you I picked a cake that was WAY above my taste threshold, that is an understatement! The cake is so far above any I’ve ever had, that I couldn’t even compare. Beyond being scrumptious, it was stunning! So, I picked a naked cake, simple and clean, and what do you know, Athan’s makes a naked cake that is elegant!

So, not only is it good, but it is also beautiful! How rare is that? You want presentation? This is naked cake! I can’t even tell you how beautiful it was! Our florist put fresh flower on it, and it looked like a piece of art!

We didn’t even do a taste test, because we KNOW what cake we wanted! Trust me, you do the same!

Best part of all… it’s reasonably priced!! I know what a big part of our costs is going to be cakes, and this is definitely top listed as something we can afford! So, how much did we spend on our cake? About $500. Good lord, it was worth every penny! Ask for Diane, she is great!
