We had the pleasure of working with Cake Ann in 2016 to create a custom wedding cake. We then had the pleasure of working with Selina and Cake Ann again this year to create another custom wedding cake. I cannot recommend their work enough. Both cakes turned out beautifully and tasted even better.

Cake Ann and their team are very professional, easy to work with, and create the most delicious cakes around. It’s not just the taste, either…they have an amazing knack for taking your ideas and pictures and creating a cake that is more beautiful and delicious than you could have imagined.

Their cakes are the perfect blend of moist (usually due to the use of buttercream as an ingredient), flavorful, and textured. They are not heavy at all, and in fact taste better than most cakes that are much “heavier” (in a good way). They have flavors that are not available at other shops (like Vermont Creamery buttercream, or guava filling, or chocolate cake).

Working with Selina and Cake Ann was a pleasure. They are responsive to emails, clear about pricing, and are on-time and prepared for meetings.

Their shop is clean and beautiful, and is a joy to visit. Most importantly, their cakes are delicious, and I can’t imagine their buttercreams (made by Vermont Creamery) being anything other than delicious.

I strongly recommend Cake Ann and their team to anyone looking for an amazing cake. This is a family-run business, and that really shows.

I met Cathy at the New England Food & Fun Festival, and immediately fell in love with her and her delicious cakes. After talking with her and looking at her cakes, I knew that she was the one I wanted to work with.

Working with Cathy was an absolute pleasure. From the first day, she was so sweet and enthusiastic and helpful. She gave us lots of advice about what flavors and fillings would go well together, what colors would look good together, and what combinations would give us the most bang for our buck (in other words - what would result in the most compliments).

We got to taste several different combinations of cakes and fillings, and we were able to pick as many flavors as we wanted to include. I also ended up changing my design a few months out from a bit beyond what I had initially planned. You would never have known - Cathy was so sweet and helpful, and made everything perfect.

The final product - a beautiful, delicious cake - was 10x better than I had even imagined. We had so many compliments from family and friends, it was unbelievable.

Working with you, Cathy, was one of the highlights of our whole wedding journey. You’re so talented, and your passion for delicious cakes is so inspiring. You guys are gonna be so happy together!

When I first spoke to Melina at Cake Ann, I was coming from another bakery that had originally quoted me a price for my wedding cake. When I sent them a message, they were able to pull the original quote and send it to me. Knowing that the original quote was for a wedding of fewer attendees than our actual wedding, I was able to negotiate a better price with Melina. (The final price, that is better than the original quote.) We had a cake testing with her that was better than I had expected. The flavors she offered and the combinations she offered were more than what I would have picked had I been able to have my choice. The cake and filling were very flavorful without being too sweet, and the cake was very moist. We had the cake for dessert at our wedding and it was a very nice change from your standard wedding cake. It was very nice and a nice twist on the traditional cake.
