We used Aj cakes for our wedding and I would highly recommend them. First of all, their cake is DELICIOUS. We ended up doing a dessert bar with mini cupcakes, mini pies, and chocolate mousse bombs. We also had a small traditional cake for our wedding. We had a winter wedding, so their pumpkin and spice cake was perfect. We loved it. We had a tasting for the traditional cakes and to pick the design. it was extremely helpful to pick designs and add/remove flavors at any time. it was free! the only downside is that they are a little pricey. However, we got a discount for having mini desserts as part of our wedding. Our total cost was pretty affordable. Their delivery and set up was also very helpful. Overall, the cake and desserts were delicious, helpful, and set up beautifully. I would highly recommend them.

We loved Aj! The tasting process was so easy and fun, they made everything very personal, and they have such an eye for detail. They work with you to find the best cake topper for you, they give you the perfect amount of materials to bring your vision to life, and the end result was more than what we imagined. The flavors of the cake are absolutely divine (and so fun to say!), the lightness of the cake (never a concern of mine for wedding cake!), the perfect density, the perfect sweetness, the perfect spice, the perfect fresh fruit/berry flavors, the perfect amount of fillings and buttercreams. I have never had a better wedding cake. We wanted to gussy up a boring and somewhat old wedding cake with some fun and pizzazz, and they absolutely nailed it. So perfect! The decorations were amazing, the flavors were incredible, the look was awesome, the taste was unreal, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They made the process so easy, the communication was fantastic, and everything went off without a hitch. We loved working with them so much that we have already started planning our next cake with them in mind (we aren’t big with seasonal flavors, but we are big on unique flavors, and they have so many fun flavors to pick from). If we didn’t live in NYC we probably would be in their store every time we are in MA just for fun. Highly highly highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Aj’s cake is so delicious and they truly have a knack for the buttercream frosting. We had a very unique design that we had drawn up ourselves, and it turned out perfect. They were extremely easy to work with and accommodating. We were not able to do the cake tasting that is included (because we live out of state) and honestly it wasn’t that big of a deal because their cake is so good and they had a lot of example cakes for us to look at. The cake turned out beautiful and they even were able to create a sheet cake for us so we could have a small wedding cake as well. They also have a lot of exotic flavors like Passion Fruit Coconut and Mango Raspberry, which we were able to incorporate into our design. I thought the cake was delicious and my jaw is still dropped when I see the final product. Aj’s is by far one of the best bakers out there and I definitely recommend them.
