Amy is a true artist in creating her cakes. I was very picky in finding a cake designer since I was planning my wedding from out of state. After sampling her cakes and reading all of her reviews, I was very excited to meet with her. She was able to fit me in for a short meeting very last minute. She was so friendly and helpful in creating the cake of my dreams. I loved that she had many cake and filling flavor combinations ready to try. She gave me several different sample cake combos and several sample filling combos. She was so helpful in selecting the size and shape of the cake and even helped me by suggesting some color options. I knew after our meeting that I could stop looking for a cake designer. She even had a cake stand option available to rent. The final product was a 10 tier, multi-flavored cake that was beyond my expectations. It was beautiful, delicious, and so moist. I had many guests ask where my cake was from. It was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. I even had a few friends ask me to bring some cake with me when I came home for Christmas. The final product was more than I could ever ask for. I am so happy that I found Amy and can’t wait for many more years of enjoying her delicious cakes.

We loved Amy’s Tasty Cakes, in that we were able to have a tasting and then choose our favorite flavors. We even got to have a second tasting to pick our other flavors. We had 3 different flavors and they were all a hit! We had a very large wedding with over 350 guests and we had 3 different flavors. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful, very simple, but with great attention to detail. We even had sugar flowers on our cake! We had fake flowers that we put on ourselves. The cake was moist and every layer was tasty. We had some extra cake and we were still able to have a little bit of each flavor. We chose real chocolate ganache, strawberry, and my favorite, double chocolate fudge. They have a lot of different flavors and they are all delicious! We chose a very simple design for our wedding cake, but one that still required a lot of skill. They created a 3-D white chocolate pearl look, that was really beautiful. We talked to them on the phone a few times, sent them pictures, and then met with them in person. They even worked with us when we had a change in our final guest count and we were able to add a layer of strawberry to our cake! The wedding cake was included in our wedding package at The Grand Seda.

Amy is truly an artist in her approach to cake design and flavor. I am used to very moist cakes and Amy’s cake is delicious. Her cakes are so moist that you can eat the whole piece without feeling like you have to “save” the top. Also, she has many flavors to choose from and can create any flavor you want. I chose to have different flavors in each layer of my cake. My wedding cake had the chocolate cake with raspberry filling, strawberry cake with strawberry filling, and red velvet with a light buttercream filling. I only had about 10 pieces left over! She is also very creative and I was able to give her a few ideas about my dress and she was able to create a sketch for me to see. I saw the cake for the first time when I walked into my reception :) It was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Amy for wedding cakes.
