Dawn was great to work with! Not only is she a talented baker, but she was very helpful and informative. I had a general idea of what I wanted my cake to look like, but couldn’t really describe it in words. She was able to take all the ideas I threw at her and create an astonishing cake that surpassed my expectations! And it tasted great, of course. ;) I had 3 different layers, and was able to choose a different flavor for each layer - vanilla bean with salted caramel, chocolate with mint buttercream, and red velvet with cream cheese. All were great, but the vanilla bean with salted caramel was my favorite. I was hesitant to have more than one flavor because I didn’t want it to overwhelm the cake, but the cleverly paired flavors really pulled everything together into a delightful whole. I had a very specific idea for a cake base (a record player) and she was able to replicate it exactly, even down to the label for my vinyl records! The small details really made the cake extra special. I highly recommend Cake You!
