I was so lucky to have gotten to work with Brooklyn Whiskers for my wedding! First, they were very responsive and made sure that I was taken care of throughout the entire process, which was amazing. They came all the way from Brooklyn to Utica for one meeting - I was impressed! They designed my cake to be exactly how I envisioned it - it was a funfetti cake with a vanilla bean buttercream frosting! They made great recommendations and gave me a lot of things to choose from, but didn’t pressure me into buying something that I didn’t want. I ended up going with a small two tiered cake and sheet cakes to save money - the recommendation they gave me ended up being perfect since we had so many guests - they call it “cake bar” or “cake buffet” - I LOVE that it’s a movement now. I also ordered mini desserts (cookies and cupcakes) for a dessert bar - I was so impressed by the mini desserts! They were all delicious (the cookies were like miniatures of the ones from their store - so popular!) and they were all gone by the end of the night! I was so impressed by the quality and the variety and the customer service. They made great candy apples for our fall wedding (using mini whoopie pies!) and mini lemon squares and blueberry squares! I was so impressed and my guests all loved it! The best part? - we got to take all the left over mini desserts home - and I didn’t even get to try any! Thank you so much Brooklyn Whiskers for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

I could not believe my eyes when I saw our cake at the reception! It was so beautiful and perfect and it tasted even better!

We used “The Goodie Shop” to create the cake, and I’ll tell you, it was one of the best decisions we made. First, they bake you several cupcakes of different flavors and different combinations. We got to pick from many many options. The cupcakes are filled with a delicious cream or frosting. Then we got to choose a cake, which was made by the very sweet Cecilia. She was so helpful, and she gave us so many ideas, and she told us how big our cake should be, and when we got to the store, we were able to try all the different flavors and finally decided on a combination (marble cake with chocolate and strawberry Goodie Stuff filling). The cake was so delicious, and we couldn’t wait until our wedding day. We ate a piece the night before the wedding, and it was delicious!

Then, on the wedding day, they delivered the cake, set it up, put on the flowers, and it was perfect. It was so helpful to have someone there who knew what size flowers to use, and they even used some extra flowers from the florist to help cover up the wires. There was no need to worry about a thing! It was so helpful to have such an experienced team there to help create our vision. It was so helpful that they helped us choose a stand to match our wedding style and color. I wish I had another wedding to plan, just so I could order another cake!
