I am a native of the Le Perche, and had no doubt that it was where we would get our cake. Located in the historic Little France section of Hudson, the bakery is a hidden gem, and well worth the trip! Unlike most other bakeries, they do not do tastings, or even offer you a small tasting cake. You must buy at least 1 “cake” (any size you want) per person, and three “cakes” per person max. You cannot combine two orders. You must pay in advance, and then return within a week to choose your flavor (you can do this in person, by phone, or by returning the coupon they mail to you) We went in person, and were able to try our three flavors in the most delicious mini-cakes I’ve ever had! We had a small wedding of 65 people, and got our cakes for $80 including tax. This included a 2" round cake for us to cut, and two 1/2 Sheet cakes, all three flavors. We got an incredible deal for people that usually have to settle for a small portion of wedding cake, and can eat a large piece of cake, and my guests are still talking about how delicious the cakes were! I have been to the bakery several times since our wedding, and bought a dozen other things for my family and friends. The cakes are always delicious, and never frozen.

The only drawback, and it is small, is that you cannot choose the flavors in advance, and have them all on your cake. On your day you will only be able to choose between your top two flavors. It is still a great deal, and delicious, and way better than a lot of weddings I’ve been to in the past. The cakes are always superb, and I cannot wait to eat our top tier on our anniversary! My husband and I ate cake every night for two weeks, and I cannot wait for our year anniversary to eat it again!
