We used Butterfly Bakeshop for our wedding on September 21, 2017. We worked with Ellen for our tasting and planning. We chose to have cupcakes for our guests and a small cutting cake for us. We first met with Ellen at Butterfly Bakeshop. She brought out six amazing cupcakes for us to sample. We chose the chocolate peanut butter cupcake, lemon drop and carrot cake. We also tried the triple vanilla (my fave) but we decided to add that as an extra flavor later. We also tried the pumpkin pie cupcake, which was delicious! We decided on having the triple vanilla, lemon drop and chocolate peanut butter cupcakes.

During our meeting, we discussed the design of our cake and cupcakes and also the color scheme. We had a main color of pink and a accent color of gold. Butterfly Bakeshop made sure to put their signature pink and gold sprinkles on all of the cupcakes! They also added some edible gold leaf. All of the flavors were perfect.

After our meeting, we emailed Ellen some of the designs we liked. She also sent some examples of their work. We decided on having two half-cupcakes and a cutting cake. The half-cupcakes were two styles: maple bacon and s’mores. The cutting cake was a pink and gold naked cake.

After we ordered the cupcakes, we had a second meeting with Ellen. We had our final tasting of all of the cupcakes and chose our final flavors. We ordered our half-cupcakes and our cutting cake. We chose the s’mores and dulce de leche cupcake, the lemon drop cupcake, pink champagne and praline cream cheese frosting and the peanut butter and jelly cupcake, jelly mouth-full with peanut butter frosting. For our cutting cake, we chose pink champagne, praline cream cheese frosting and pink buttercream.

The day of the wedding, we were SO excited to see our flavors and half-cupcakes! They looked amazing and were the perfect flavors. Our cutting cake was perfect and was the perfect flavor too! Our guests loved all of the flavors.

Butterfly Bakeshop did a great job with our cupcakes and cutting cake! They were so easy to work with and sent us photos too of our cupcakes. They were very flexible with our flavors and were always willing to make any changes we wanted. They let us have two different flavors for our half-cupcakes. The pricing was great and they have some really unique flavors. We showed them some of our invitation designs and they matched them perfectly. Their designs are simple yet beautiful. The cupcakes were delivered to our venue in the correct flavors and looked perfect. Our guests loved the flavors and looked great while doing so! We highly recommend using Butterfly Bakeshop for your wedding. Their work is simple yet beautiful and the flavors are delicious!

Butterfly Bake Shop made our wedding cupcakes and they were AMAZING! The entire process of tasting, picking flavors, and the day of delivery and set up was hassle free and much more enjoyable in the planning process. They have a huge variety of flavors and I was able to come to the tasting with my parents and two sisters and they allowed us to try every flavor and it was all amazing. We eventually decided on carrot cake, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and vanilla with raspberry filling. We also decided to do a small cutting cake that was almond with almond cream and a raspberry filling. We had asked them not to make any designs on the cake but instead chose a simple style to keep the focus on the cupcake itself. The day of the wedding the cupcakes were delivered on time, were all different flavors (we had more than enough for all of our guests) and they were a huge hit. We definitely recommend them for all your dessert needs. We cannot wait to chow down on those leftovers in a year!
