Adirondack Delectables is an amazing bakery with wonderful customer service. I called them to make a tasting appointment and they were very prompt and professional. We sampled their product and were in and out in under an hour. The owner sat with us and helped us decide on what we wanted. We wanted a couple different flavors for cupcakes and two types of cake. We had a small wedding and only needed 4 cupcake flavors and one kind of cake. She made a recommendation on what flavors worked well together and what flavors went well together. The cupcakes were amazing! Very moist and the flavors were delicious. The cake was also amazing! Not too sweet and just the right amount of flavor. She also showed us a slide show of some of the weddings they have done. The price was very good for what we got. I cannot say enough good things about this bakery!

I ordered my Mother’s Day cake from Adirondack delectables for my wife’s mother. It was a simple celebration cake but it had to be made in a particular way: No fondant, no buttercream frosting, and adorably “dummy” figures. They figured out exactly what shape and decoration had to be used to make a beautiful cake that was also unique. No one else could make this cake. No one else had the exact shape or could make the particular decoration. It was a one of a kind cake that was made just for her. It was beautiful, delicious, and unique. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a special cake. I’ve been to their home many times and sampled all of their delicious cakes and baked goods. The are very talented. I’ve been in love with their cakes ever since.

We had Adirondack Delectables do a dessert table for our wedding. We wanted a variety for our dessert table and an attention to detail that reflected our personalities. They went above and beyond our wildest dreams. We had a variety of 13 different desserts and the details from the hand crafted signs and trays to the custom monogrammed candy bags were so personalized to us. They made personal sized “wildflowers” out of meringue and coated them in dark chocolate, then added a bright color splash of raspberry sauce…they were so stunning we didn’t want to eat them! The custom built cake was a work of art as well. It was so delicious we are still enjoying it a month later. They were so professional and caring and dedicated to their work and it shows in every aspect of their creation. There is no one else I would trust with such a personal project. I would give them anything! My only regret is that we didn’t plan to eat as much of it as soon as it was made because it went so fast, but I’m sure we will all be enjoying it again in one way or another very soon. It was so delicious!

I have to say, I was not sure if I was going to have a wedding cake. We were going with a smallish wedding, and I had been “warned” that the cake making is “time intensive”, and could “jeopadize” the “moment”. Well, as you can see from the photos, the cake was part of the “moment”. We had a wonderful tasting, I showed the “cake artist” (that’s what they call themselves) the photo of the cake I wanted, and they made it. Everyone loved the cake. I wanted a “lady of the manor” to cut the cake, which they made. It was SO fun to walk in on the weekend and see their “hand” decorated cakes. They also made a special “to go” box for my cake topper, that we will be using in our house for a while. Their service and their product is excellent, and they were very accomodating and “cost effective”. They have a “factory” in each of the Upstate NY towns, so I guess we will be getting to know them over the years, for other events. I will recommend them for birthdays, anniversaries, ANY event. Thank you for making my cake a part of my wedding day, it was perfect!!
