We’re still getting compliments about the cupcakes! 50/50 so kindly let us have two flavors of cupcakes, which was an amazing treat for my wedding and SO good. They’re delicious! So good that I’d do it all over again with a little more popcorn, since that’s what I had left over. We came up with the idea to have a popcorn bar at the wedding. We were able to pick six flavors of popcorn, along with some sea salt and caramel butter. We had brown sugar popcorn, cayenne popcorn, Parmesan popcorn, and even mango popcorn. We were allowed to make a few decorations on each popcorn “ball” (they’re a bit hard to see in pictures, but there were little bows and their wedding logo). We put them on these big wood boards and put them around the tables. It was a cool decoration and fit right into the rustic, fall themed wedding. It was super yummy and everyone was raving about it. I’ll definitely be going back to 50/50 to try more of their delicious creations!

This past February I turned 50 and Mike JJ’s Catering decided to throw me a small celebration. They did a cake test and the flavor I wanted was actually a butter cake which I’ve never had before. It was delicious. So for my wedding cake I decided to get a “show stopping” wedding cake and a small cake test (which turned out to be one of the best cakes I’ve ever ate)! So I decided to get a 3 tier cake and every tier would be a different flavor. It was going to be hard to pick just 3 flavors but we’ll we did, 50-Fifty came to the rescue! The cake specialist worked with me and for just my wedding cake I got three different flavors (Almond-Raspberry, Carrot, and Pineapple Teriyaki). It was AMAZING! So for the cake test, they did four tiers, each of those flavors. It was so good that for the first year anniversary, I didn’t want to share with anyone. Another great perk from 50-Fifty– they will make us a small cake for sharing :) It was so good I want to order another just to eat by itself! Seriously, don’t be shy about going with Mike JJ’s, they have amazing cakes and we were not disappointed! Oh I also got some cupcakes from them as well for my wedding shower– they were perfect, just like the wedding cake, delicious with a flavor that you wouldn’t expect. YUM!

There are not enough good things to be said about 50/Fifty. They helped to make one of the best weddings I have ever been to, and one of my best days ever. They helped to make a dream come true for me and my husband. They made a day we had been waiting for for over 13 years, truly special. They made a day we will never forget, and one that we want to relive over and over again. They are so very talented at what they do, and they are so very nice. They made my husband and me feel like we were the only people in the world, and when we where to be sure that we were the only people in the world, (we were married on a island where we knew everyone), it felt so very special. The cake was so very delicious, and their decorations are just so very amazing. They take a lot of time to help you with everything, and they will do anything to make sure your day is just what you want it to be. We love you Ricky and Gina, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love the new location!!! See you soon my friends!!!!
