Lauren at As You Wish was wonderful. I came in with a specific look in mind, and she worked to make it happen while staying within my budget. When I saw it, I absolutely loved it. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. She also made a small cake for us with a flavor combination we wanted as a second option. The cake was moist and delicious. This was all before we even started on the cupcakes. When we got to cupcakes, we fell in love. They were the best cupcakes we had ever had. And they were absolutely delicious. We had so many compliments on all the flavors. She even made us some to-go boxes so we had enough cupcakes for us to enjoy later. On top of all this, she was pleasant to work with. Very sweet and open to any ideas. I couldn’t imagine anyone else being able to do what I wanted and within my budget. You will not regret getting a cake from her. The only thing I will say is that the pricing is on the high end of the typical cake baker. But the amazing quality, Lauren’s personality, and the cupcakes make it worth it!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Alexandra was amazing. She gave us a ton of options, all of which were delicious. She even let us do 2 flavor combinations for no extra cost. We wanted to do something a little unique, so for our cake we got carrot cake with a cream cheese filling and for the cupcakes we got vanilla cake with a peanut butter and chocolate fudge filling. They were the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. She also decorated the cupcakes and cake how we wanted. I didn’t have a clear vision of exactly what I wanted, but she worked with what I had and the final product was beyond what I could have ever imagined. People were raving about the cupcakes! She also made us vegan and gluten free cupcakes, which were equally as delicious.

Alexandra was so great and her cakes are so good that I wish I lived closer so I could have her cupcakes all the time!

Jennifer made the cake part of our package at The Cakery for our wedding. She was so nice and was very helpful in the whole process. She helped us pick the flavor of the cake and frosting and also helped us choose the right sized cake for our guest count. She made us feel important and made us feel like she cared. Once the wedding was over she sent us a thank you email with a photo of our cake. That thank you email meant the world to us. I was so excited when I woke up the morning after our wedding and saw that she had left us a gift! It was a thank you gift and it was 2 beautiful cupcakes. The flavors of the cake and frosting were perfect and the decorations were beautiful! The frosting was so sweet and it was great for the waistline but also delicious. Our whole experience with Jennifer was perfect! She is so sweet and her and the team at as you wish make the whole process easy and enjoyable. Hobbsville is the best!

Lisa was amazing from the time we first met her at the tasting all the way up to the wedding. She worked hard to make the cake and the flavors that we wanted. On the wedding day the cake was even more beautiful than I had imagined and the flavors were amazing. I had the lemon cake with raspberry jam, red velvet with German chocolate filling and my husband and I’s favorite, chocolate with peanut butter filling. I even got to take some cake home with me! My husband and I had been talking about how we wanted to try a different type of cake for our wedding and Lisa suggested As You Wish. We had both grown up eating wedding cake and neither of us were wanting the traditional flavors. Lisa worked hard to make us a wedding cake that we would be proud to have served to our guests. Her hard work and amazing baking paid off and we had nothing but compliments all night regarding our cake. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a delicious and beautiful cake for any occasion.
