We were looking for a specific design that we saw in a magazine. We discussed the magazine article with Joe and Joe said he would do it (and he did!). The cake was beautiful and tasted great. The price was reasonable and we were able to have different flavors on different tiers. We went with chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse layer, chocolate/peppermint porter cake with a chocolate/strawberry mousse layer and buttermilk cake with a lemon/raspberry mousse layer. We had a little bit of extra cake from the tasting so we had cake for a couple days after the wedding. All the layers were very moist. I was very happy with this cake and I would definitely order from this bakery again. I think the only thing that might make it a little nicer is a little more decoration. They aren’t expensive, just not included in the base price. You can do a little bit more for an extra price. Overall though, this is a solid company that does tasty, reasonably priced cakes.

Our cake was included in our wedding package from our venue, but we had a choice between two bakers. We chose Joe and Maria, and we are so glad we did. They were very easy to work with, and answered all of our questions promptly. They had a large selection of designs to choose from, and even let us bring in our own ribbon and flowers to match our theme. The day of our wedding, our cake was just as I imagined, and the lemon layer was just the right amount of lemon-y without being overly lemon-y. And the best part was the taste! Their cakes are just the right amount of moist and creamy without being super-sweet. They have a great variety of flavors, ranging from the traditional to the unusual (banana and almond). My only complaint is that we tried their cake several months before our wedding, and wanted to spend more time savoring it! We were only able to pop in briefly after receiving our RSVP replies to take some pictures, but would definitely return if possible. Thanks, Joe and Maria!
