We used Cake Arts for our bride and groom cakes. We were able to choose a different flavor for every layer. We had a lot of fun at the wedding tasting picking our flavors.
The designs were amazing! They even created a flavor for us that was outside of their normal flavor. They were able to make our cake a little different than everyone else’s. I especially love their creativity. The bakers made a cake that was half and half, half was a retro cake and the other was a traditional white cake. They made the frosting look wet, but durable, so it looked like it was just sprayed on. The grooms cake was so realistic. They make all their own buttercreams and they were able to make any color you want, even though it was black and red, it didn’t come out that way, it was a darken black and red, red. The bakers were very helpful, especially when I was picking flavors. The cakes were amazing and they even created a flavor for me, that wasn’t one of their normal flavors. They were amazing!
We also bought cupcakes from them, when we were deciding how many cupcakes we wanted, we were able to try all their flavors. They were delicious, we decided to do both red velvet and black for our cupcakes. They were able to help us with deciding how many of each we needed. Red velvet and black is our flavor! The cupcakes were so good and they were delicious and all our guests love them. We were also able to save the top part of our cake for our one year anniversary. The bakers were wonderful, they even made us a special cake, that wasn’t one of their normal flavors. They were very helpful and kind. They made us feel very special. I will definitely use them again, for my future cake needs!

I had heard about Mary from a friend and how incredible her cakes are. So, when I was planning my wedding, I knew I wanted Mary to make my cake. My fiance and I were able to sample many flavors of cake, frosting and fondant and were able to create a custom cake flavor that was very unique and not in Mary’s original flavors (to make it more “wedding-like”). She custom made a filling for us that was also unique and not in her original flavors. The final product was absolutely amazing! It was so moist, so flavorful, and so unique. Everyone at the wedding kept asking us who made our cake, it was so unique. When I turned in my cake decorations (custom made as well), she made a new set of decorations for me that complemented the original decorations. The final product was absolutely stunning as well. The colors, the details, the craftsmanship was beyond anything I could have imagined. I was so incredibly pleased with everything, I could not have asked for a more amazing cake. The price was very reasonable as well. I thought the value was much more worth it than other vendors I looked at who charged just for the decoration and who charged per slice. I was a very happy bride :):)

We had a great time at the tasting and the cake turned out to be even more delicious than what we had sampled! We chose chocolate cake with fudge filling and cream cheese frosting. The frosting was a little thick, and we would have preferred if they had not put the cream cheese in the frosting, and instead used an equal amount of butter cream. It still tasted great, but we found that towards the end of the night the cream cheese flavor was a little too rich for some people. We had ordered enough cake for about 160 people, and we think about half of the guests were men. We figured about half of the guests were going to be upset with the frosting, and the other half would probably be upset with us for not providing a buttercream frosting option. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The cake was AMAZING and no one complained! We also ordered some cake toppers from them to use on a small cake we added on top of the sheet cake, and that was delicious as well. The bakery was very easy to work with, and they delivered the cake and the small cake to the reception site at the right time. We would recommend them to make a delicious cake, but we would suggest providing them with a little more information about exactly what you want.
