We had a wonderful experience with Katie and Bird in Hand. I found out about Bird in Hand through my sister, who had her wedding cake done by Katie, and what a great experience it was. I contacted Katie and we set up a time to meet with her and sample her awesome flavors. We decided on a 3 tier cake with raspberry swirl, raspberry, and red velvet. The outside looked amazing also, with paisley and flowers. We were so impressed by how everything tasted and how Katie had samples of all her available flavors and you could mix and match any type of filling and any type of cake in any order. What a cool concept! We wanted our cake to look very vintage christmas, so we had antique snowflakes and snowflakes painted on the side of the cake. We had a 1 year old daughter with us, and Katie was so great with her, making her part of the cake design, by putting snowflakes under the baby’s name. It was all incredibly thoughtful, and the cake was the hit of the party. Everyone said it was so cool, and different, and tasty. We had leftover cake and we were still enjoying it a couple days after. Katie and Bird in Hand was one of the highlights of our wedding. We can’t wait for our next party, to order another cake! I highly recommend Bird in Hand, and Katie, for anyone’s wedding or anytime! Great flavors, great service, and a great cake.
