Wow, where to begin? I had the pleasure of meeting the incredibly talented Myreichka Matos in 2017 during an event that my husband and I were both invited to. It was a pleasure to see her and enjoy her company. It wasn’t until later that I found out she creates cakes for weddings! We did a cake tasting and it was so hard to narrow down the flavors, they were all so delicious! When it came time to design the cake, I didn’t have to worry. She did an amazing job designing a cake for us. It was so beautiful and everything we asked for! When it came to the flavors, again there wasn’t a single one we didn’t love! Opa! is an anise flavored cake with a hint of almond and orange. OH MY GOSH. If you haven’t had it, you need to try it! Our cake was a white cake with this flavor. IT IS AMAZING! We also had a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. To die for! Then, we had a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing, swirled with chocolate buttercream. Another must have! I can’t express how amazing these flavors are! The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. At the end of the day, it’s a cake right? Well, it was so moist, fluffy & delicious! I can’t wait to have our top tier on our first anniversary! Thank you for making our cake! I highly recommend Amapola Deams Cake Design.

If I could give Amapola more than 5 stars I would! I used them for my wedding cake and for planning and selecting super-special treats for my rehearsal dinner and bridal shower. I am a chocoholic, and they made custom cupcakes and brownie bites that I used for my shower. They made custom chocolate molds to create custom candy for my wedding. I also ordered custom wedding cookies. The designs they created were exactly what I requested, and everything was delicious. I was able to order in bulk and the staff was always super-easy to work with. I have also ordered several other cakes from them, and they are all amazing. I am also gluten intolerant, and they were able to make all of my recipes gluten free. I am not gluten intolerant, and their gluten free recipes are delicious! I highly recommend them.

From the moment we met and fell in love with the owner’s personality, we knew Amapola would be a great choice for our wedding cake. Myreichka made tasting fun and easy. She let us try many varieties and even brought out extras for us to try. Our choice was a chiffon cake with fresh strawberry mousse. When I asked how I could get fresh strawberries for the mousse since we didn’t have a garden, she simply said they were organic and I wouldn’t have to worry about it! It was SO delicious. The cake was perfect, I asked for a very simple look with just white buttercream frosting. It was so beautiful! Our florist added rose pedals, fresh flowers and greenery. It was simple yet elegant. Everyone loved the cake and wanted to know where it was from. We didn’t have a traditional wedding cake so I was so excited to have this at our wedding. It was so delicious and turned out even better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much Amapola, you exceeded our expectations!

Oh my goodness!!! I had the BEST experience possible working with Amapola Deams, the amazing pastry chefs! I had the pleasure of working with Sue, who has been in the pastry industry for over 30 years. She has worked with all top designers and companies and she is simply the BEST! Seeing her resume was a great boost, as we were able to meet with her to discuss our wedding cake design and what pastry items we wanted to include. She was very attentive to the details of our wedding and what we wanted for a cake! We had some additions that we wanted to add and she worked hard to make sure that she could achieve these details on our wedding cake. Seeing our cake design on the day of our wedding was beyond what we could have asked for!! I was simply blown away by the beauty of the cake and the delicious treats included! I simply can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Sue. She was very attentive and so easy to communicate with! The entire team was great!! They arrived on time and worked diligently to decorate our wedding cake with the flowers we chose! They even worked with the florist to make sure that the arrangements for the cake were the ones we wanted!! We had a beautiful, delicious, show stopping cake!! I couldn’t have asked for anything better!! Thank you so much for all that you did for us on our wedding day!! You truly made my dream cake a reality!
