Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very responsive, talented, and creative. Her cakes are not only delicious but they are masterpieces in appearance. She was able to take my ideas and turn them into a cake that became the centerpiece of our wedding. We had a nautical theme and I had antique decorated cake plates that I wanted to incorporate into her design. She hand painted them on the cake and did a phenomenal job of making them look like porcelain. Our grooms cake was a work of art. We asked her to make a cake that looked like we were in Antarctica searching for the source of the Yeti. She made a replica of our airplane and a Yeti that were chasing it. The attention to detail was incredible and the cake was delicious. Both of our cakes were the topic of the wedding. Everyone loved how delicious they were and they were amazed by the artistry. We will definitely be using Amy in the future for any of our cake needs.

Amy’s Creative Cakes is a small company run by a mom with very big ideas about making her customer’s wedding day unique and beautiful. My daughter called and made an appointment for a Saturday morning. They were able to do her cake testing that day so she didn’t have to wait until the next available weekend. They gave her several samples of their “favorites” to try and let her get a feel for what the flavors would be.
The samples were so amazing that her mother was convinced they would need to make a dozen of the most popular ones just for them! The samples were followed by a consultation during which she was able to describe the look she wanted for her cake and cupcake tower. They showed her pictures and ran the idea by her. The cake testing was so good, they even let her take home the samples so her mother could try them too! The cake flavors they offer are unusual and all delicious. The icing is like no other. The day after the wedding, the venue staff called to see if she wanted a mini cake made just for her. Amy’s Creative Cakes has a small selection of cake decorations but her mother was able to bring some that were more elaborate than what they had originally shown her. The staff was very helpful in working with her to put everything together. The end result was unique and beautiful. The small wedding cake was exactly what she wanted. The unusual and delicious cupcakes were a huge hit. Amy’s Creative Cakes truly went the extra mile to provide a great experience and a great product for my daughter’s wedding. If I could give Amy & her’s team more than 5 stars I would! I could not have asked for a better experience in planning my wedding cake. I have a very strange request for my wedding cake…I asked that it be different than my dress…I didn’t want it to be the only thing people noticed, but I also didn’t want it to be so masked it just looked like any other wedding cake. My friends (and now my husband) have mentioned that they are noticing the subtle differences in the design of my wedding cake and my dress, and it’s all thanks to Amy & her’s team. They understood my request and made us a BEAUTIFUL wedding cake that was just as unique as my dress.
