Bonnie Brunt Cakes is my favorite place to eat in Charleston. So, it was a no-brainer to chose them to do my wedding cake. Their cakes are delicious and the designs are beautiful. When I went for my cake tasting, I loved that they asked me what my color scheme was and what I wanted for a design on the cake. After I left, I thought to myself, “they just designed a cake for me!” The cake they created was EXACTLY what I wanted! It was 3-tiered with white chocolate and red velvet on the top and bottom and a lemon one middle tier. It was perfect! I had a beach theme wedding so I also wanted a little white dog on the cake (like in the movies). They added a little dog made of fondant and it was adorable! My guests loved it! Thank you Bonnie Brunt Cakes for making my dream wedding cake :)

Bonnie and her team did a fantastic job with our wedding cake. The tasting with them was a lot of fun, and very helpful in deciding the style of cake we wanted. We decided to do the traditional four layer wedding cake, and then did a additional tasting with just the flavors of cake we wanted for the different layers. It was so helpful because it gave us a chance to taste the cake with just a few selected flavors, which helped us narrow down our choices. The cake was beautiful and just as we had imagined. It was so helpful to have the physical representation of what we had chosen, and it also helped us to discuss the size and layers of cake that we needed for the amount of guests we had. The cake was delicious, and we got a lot of compliments from our guests. The price was also very reasonable and comparable to other vendors in the area. We highly recommend Bonnie and her team!!
