My mom used to make the most delicious cakes (and other sweets) when I was a little girl. I always looked forward to celebrating major holidays with her creation. When she passed away in 2009, I was devastated. Then I discovered she had left specific directions for my sister to follow in making the cakes, and she did a phenomenal job. I wanted to honor my mom’s memory by making her famous cakes. So, I bought the supplies from my sister and made her first cake in 2010. It was so delicious that I made her make all of my cakes in 2011 and 2012. We had different flavors for each year. They were all delicious and the perfect size for a party of 75. The price was perfect. The cakes arrived on time and in perfect shape. Everyone loved them. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. It was very important to me that this cake was not only delicious, but it looked wonderful as well. The decorations were perfect. The flavors were the perfect combination. I am so glad that I had the honor of making my mom’s famous cakes. I will continue to order her cakes for years to come. I highly recommend Because of Mom for your celebration cakes! It was very meaningful to me to have flavors to choose from. I will forever remember my mom’s cakes and the joy they brought to my family and friends. Thank you to her sister for your dedication in making these memories for others.
