My husband doesn’t usually enjoy eating cake, so we knew finding a good bakery was going to be a challenge. We tried a few popular bakeries in town and were not impressed with the flavors or the price, so we decided to ask a question at our food tasting and were hooked! We met with Amy Jo in her cute bakery in the woods and tried a few flavors of cake, thousands of flavors of frosting, and some of their standard flavors. There were so many good ones that we had a hard time deciding, and Amy Jo was very helpful with the flavors and styles that she offers. My husband is a sucker for a brownie, so the brownies at Another Touch were the best he’d ever had. We ended up choosing a different flavor for each tier of our cake to make sure he had his favorites available! When the wedding came, the cake was a huge hit. Since we chose four different flavors, we had a big variety in each tier. The cake was delicious, moist, and not overly sweet, just the way my husband likes it. I chose a different design for each tier also, so the bottom was classic Amy Jo’s design, the middle tier was a striped design from one of her patterns books, the top was one of her color books, and the top of the cake was a checkered design from a hat he designed. I showed her a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like and it turned out even better than I pictured it! Another Touch Bakery offers so many different styles and flavors of wedding cakes, so you’re sure to find something that will impress your guests! Their pricing is also very reasonable, and the quality is unbeatable!

After being referred by friends and colleagues, we set up a tasting with Beth at Another Touch Bakery. We were hooked on the deliciousness of her product from the get go. My husband and I agreed on a carrot cake with cream cheese icing. We had a picture of how we wanted our cake to look, with a few tweaks. We had a 3 tier cake, all one layer (instead of two layers of real cake) and we wanted ribbon around each tier, gold dragées, and we wanted the icing to have some gold dragées as well. She did all of this!! She was very understanding of my ideas and gave great feedback on what would look good and what wouldn’t.
On our wedding day, she delivered our cake a couple of hours before the wedding, in order to allow the cream cheese icing to stay warm (its not cold, its just not meant for cooling). We had a beautiful cake that was exactly how we had hoped and received many compliments! We also had some vegan and gluten free guests, and she was able to make them a small vegan/gluten free cake, in order to allow them to still be part of our celebration. We also got to take some leftover vegan/gluten free cake home, which was great because we got to enjoy more of it after the wedding!
