Katie and her team are AMAZING. I’m a wedding planner in the local area and I frequently recommend Cake and Spoon to my clients. In fact, they’re now my recommended vendors for all things related to weddings - not only do they offer an amazing product that tastes delicious, but they make the whole process so easy and fun.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Katie and her team to plan a wedding for a couple that I had met and interviewed during an event. I fell in love with the couple and their story and was honored to be able to recommend them to Cake and Spoon.

After getting in touch with Katie and telling her about the couple and my favorite flavors, she surprised me and baked me three different round cakes with my favorite flavor combinations for my tasting. My goodness, they were DELICIOUS. So, so, so good. It was really fun to meet her and do the tasting this way. We had a really great time chatting.

As a wedding planner, I’m always excited to see how Cake and Spoon develops and grows. It’s clear that they are a really dynamic and creative team that is having a lot of fun with their business and their passion for baking. They’ve only gotten better since they began. Their communication, attention to detail, execution, delivery and all around experience is top notch. You won’t be disappointed. Not to mention, their cakes are super reasonable in price.

I highly, highly recommend using Cake and Spoon for your event. It will be the most enjoyable part of the entire wedding planning process and you will not regret it at all.

Oh my gosh. I cannot say enough about Amy and her cakes. As a person who LOVES cake, this was important to me in our relationship. In all our relationship building months, there was never a time where we were not thinking about getting engaged and what kind of cake we wanted. For any of you engaged or getting married, this is your cake vendor. You will not be able to think about your wedding without this cake.

To explain how important cake is to me, I did not really eat sweets growing up so my wedding cake was my favorite part of wedding planning, until I tasted my cake vendor’s product. Amy makes the most delicious cakes I have ever had in my life. She also makes the most beautiful cakes. We went to a couple cake tastings and her cakes are so beautiful. The fillings she has are out of this world. This is not the standard wedding cake which is dry sponge cake with some fruit. Her cakes are so moist, so delicious, so fresh, so full of flavor. We had a layer of strawberry, a layer of vanilla, and a layer of orange. The icing is not too sweet, but just right. She also makes such amazing cookies and cupcakes. If you can, get her brownies too. They are the best in the world.

So I was telling you that I didn’t eat sweets so I didn’t really eat my wedding cake. I had a piece of the strawberry layer the next day and it was so delicious. We both ate an entire piece the next day and we were so excited because that’s the sign of a good cake. We are so excited to go to her wedding and get a mini cake every year. We will definitely be getting our cakes here for every event we have in our lives. I cannot say enough good things. Get your cake here and you will not be disappointed.
