I was so impressed with Baking Up a Storm Bakery. They were very friendly, and they were very thorough with what I told them I wanted for my wedding cake. They were not pressuring me into buying a big cake, because they knew I already had a destination wedding, and I am from the Houston area. They gave me lots of options to stay in my budget, and we were able to come up with a cake that worked for everyone. When I saw the cake at the wedding, I was in awe. It was BEAUTIFUL!! And the flavor, oh my goodness. The flavor was perfect! I had several people ask me where the cake was from, and they were very honest that they use fondant because it tastes better that way. They also have cake stands, and they delivered the cake on one. I was very impressed, and when I got home, I went straight to my email and ordered another cake from them! They were affordable, and they are now my go to cake people in the Houston area.

Our wedding was Sept. 14, 2021, and I can say with out a doubt that it was the most amazing day of our lives thus far. We knew immediately that we wanted to have a small cake and many cupcakes, and when we went to visit Bk A Storm, they were extremely accommodating for our needs. We had a private tasting with Jessica, who was so friendly and helpful, it left us full of happiness and excited for the big day.

Our cupcakes were a hit, and we had hardly any left over at the end of the night. I also loved our cake, which was a white cake with a raspberry filling, and a buttercream frosting job by the guys at Bk A Storm. It was absolutely delicious and still tastes that way after being in the freezer for a couple months. Our cake was perfect, delicious, and exactly what we wanted.

On our wedding day itself, they set up our cupcakes and cake outside our venue, Baytown Town center, on the patio where we wanted them. They used some twine to bind the cupcakes together and placed them on a piece of wood, just how we wanted them. The frosting job on the cake, as well as the decor on the cake (we wanted a simple buttercream frosting with sugar flowers on the top) was impeccable!

All of this led us to have a mini cake in the freezer for our anniversary, but we already ate it because it was that good. Our wedding was a perfect day because of Bk A Storm, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. They made our day amazing, and we are so grateful.
