Cannot say enough nice things about the cakes and desserts at the Cupboard! My husband and I met with Cammie to do our tasting, and she was so sweet and helpful throughout the entire process. We decided that we just loved everything we tasted, so we did not have a specific design in mind. She was so helpful with giving us ideas and suggestions, and was so pleasant and easy to work with! We decided on a wedding cake, cupcakes, and a variety of desserts. Everything was delicious! We received so many compliments on our desert assortment! We also did a groom’s cake and had leftover chocolate covered strawberries that were delicious! My husband loves strawberries, and the chocolate was rich and not too sweet.
I also want to give a shout out to the bridal attendant at the Cupboard, Tiffany. I have worked with several vendors who have great customer service, but who do not realize that a bride has many more details to tend to than the groom! Tiffany took my nervous, scattered self to a new level with her calm, reassuring, cheerful, and helpful attitude. I cannot emphasize the value of her contribution enough! Thanks so much, Tiffany!
Finally, if you are looking for delicious desserts, warm and friendly service, and easy access to the best of the best in the Houston area, then the Cupboard is the place to go! We are looking forward to our free anniversary cake next year! All the best!

We had approximately 1 year to plan and about 5 months to pull off our wedding! I found Abby’s Cupboard through my mom, who has been going there for about 15 years. I was hooked as soon as I tried one of their muffins (or “cupcakes” as they are known to customers). I knew I wanted to use them for my wedding goodies! My fiancé and I went in for a consultation and talked with Jan about our ideas. She was very creative and helpful in pulling our our vision together. We decided to go with a small cake for cutting, cupcakes, and cake balls! Jan showed us a sample of the cake balls and they were DELICIOUS! We chose 3 different flavors and they were all delicious! Jan was honest with us about our options and how much everything would cost. She did not try to “sell” us on anything we didn’t want and was very upfront about every cost, even down to the penny! My mom has a sweet tooth and is very picky about how cake tastes, so Jan even made several samples of the cake flavors for my mom to try before we chose our flavors! About 5 weeks before the wedding, my mom contacted Jan about our order and everything was ready to go! My fiancé and I picked up our order on a Monday and it was all ready in the kitchen for assembly! The cake was decorated beautifully and the cake balls were a hit! We also ordered some extra key lime pie cupcakes for my fiancé and I to share since they aren’t available in the other flavors. Jan was extremely helpful and honest throughout the process, and now I go in for regular meetings with my sister to order more cupcakes and cake balls because they are just that good! You will not be disappointed in choosing Abby’s Cupboard for your event!!!

The wedding cake was one of the first things I started dreaming about after getting engaged. I have always dreamed of having a cake that was half bride, half chocolate mousse cupcake with cherry frosting. My now husband and I had a little cake tasting about a year ago and decided that carrot cake was the way to go. We were not able to decide on a flavor though because they were all so delicious. I sent them a picture of how I wanted my cake to look and they were able to do it. The cake looked exactly like the picture and was so beautiful!! It tasted just as good as it looked. I had cherry blossom flowers around each tier and a flower to top it off. They even used fondant as I wanted, but it was not necessary because the cake was so moist. I had so many people say that it was their favorite wedding cake they have ever had. I am still getting comments about how good the cake was. I could not be happier with how it turned out! I absolutely recommend them for any cake needs.
