She is the best in town. I tried others but they just could not match the quality and taste of her cakes. She uses her own recipes and buys ingredients that are fresh. She lets you have different flavors for each layer and even different fillings for each layer. You can pick as many flavors and as many layers as you want. We had 4 layers and each layer had it’s own flavoring. My favorite was the first layer - Almond with Honey Vanilla Glaze and my husband’s favorite was the third layer - Lemon with Raspberry Vanilla Glaze. I usually do not like buttercream frosting but this was so light and smooth it was wonderful. There is a tasting where you can try all the different flavors she offers. I would love to have a wedding every year just to have an excuse to have her make the cake for it.

I first heard about Abby & Bernie when my Aunt Tameka suggested they be included in a list of wedding cake vendors I should check out. I’m glad I did since they were delightful to work with! I set up an appointment with them for a cake tasting. They were very accomodating since I was coming in from out of town. They offered to do two cake tastings in one day since I didn’t have time to do them separately. We loved their cakes at the tasting and decided to book them right away. They were very helpful in planning the size of the cake since I didn’t have a lot of experience with this part. We decided on two different flavors for different tiers with the same flavor in the top tier. They were very helpful with making those special requests. This was the easiest part of planning a wedding. They were amazing with emailing me confirmation of each new update to the cake plans.

The day of the wedding went very smoothly. The cake looked exactly as I had imagined and it was so moist!!! Everyone loved it. I was expecting to have quite a bit of leftovers since we planned for 100 people, but the cake was gone!!! It was perfect amount of cake for the amount of people.

I’m glad I have someone to send future brides to Abby & Bernie since it was so helpful to have them from the beginning. They made the process so easy even though I didn’t know what I wanted for the design of the cake at first. I knew I wanted moist cake and I was sure hoping that was possible. They made it possible even though I didn’t have many other design ideas. I ended up choosing something simple but to the point since I was having an outside wedding with lots of trees and green environment. They were helpful with making suggestions that were simple so that I would have enough cake for everyone.

I highly recommend Abby & Bernie for anyone who needs a wedding cake. They were perfect in every aspect.

I had been to so many wedding cakes that were way too sweet. I had my mom mention Abbias to me. I went to the website and got the delima (such a pretty word) I called and made my cake order. I choose a 9 in round, 4 layer cake. Two of the layers were cassata and the other 2 and the top layer were white. I also chose a lilac ribbon, black & white daisies, & a lavender blossom cake. I was a little bit in shock when I saw my cake. It was so beautiful and I could not wait to eat it. When we went to taste the different flavors, it was soooo hard to choose. They were all too good. We ended up choosing lilac with cassata as one of the layers and white with lemon as the other layers. I also chose butter cream frosting. I had a very large cake so I got a 10 in sheet cake. Two layers were cassata and the other 2 and the top layer were white. I also chose butter cream frosting. When I saw my cake again after being together for a week, I couldn’t wait to eat it. When the wedding day finally came, we had a lot of guests that were not able to make it. We took some pieces home and kept them for a few days for them to enjoy. We also had a small piece when we went to our honeymoon a week later. It was such a nice treat to have a little sweet after being away from home for a week. My mom also ordered a cake from them for my bridal shower that was also very pretty. At the end of the day, I was very happy with my choice to use Abbias. The cake was moist and not too sweet. Everyone enjoyed it and I am looking forward to eating the top layer of my cake on my one year anniversary. By the way, the price of my cake was well worth it. To sum it up, I would have gone anywhere to get my cake from Abbias. Their cakes are beautiful and very delicious.

I had a very small wedding with like 3 people in the bridal party. But I wanted cakes for both my wedding and bridal shower. I also wanted the cakes to be in the shape of the state of Texas because my husband and I are from Houston, TX and I am from Arlington, TX. My mom found Abbi’s Delights online and gave them a call. They immediately put her in touch with me, as they usually only do custom cakes for big weddings. I was so thrilled when I found out that not only did they do custom cakes, but they also did cakes in the shape of the state of Texas!! I was so excited, as I have always been a huge fan of cake art. As they were so easy to work with, and as I love all of their cakes so much, my mom got 2 cakes from them for the two events for us, and we were so happy. The cakes in shape of the state of Texas were perfect, and they were so real looking that some of the guests actually thought the cakes were statues, and they ate them. YUMMY!!!!!! The flavors were so great, and all of their flavors and fillings are very unique. I highly recommend them for your cakes, whether they are in the shape of the state of Texas, or not. You will be very happy with them, and they will make your cake dreams come true. I love them dearly, as I order cakes for them every year for my birthday, and my husband’s birthday. They are such a nice store, and they are so talented in their field. You will LOVE them!!!

I contacted Gayle over email and she was very prompt in responding and setting up a meeting. I was able to get all my questions answered and was very professional throughout the whole process.

When I went in to the bakery, they were very professional, warm and inviting. I went to the cake tasting and was able to try about a 100 different cake flavors. All of them were amazing and I truly had a hard time choosing. They were very professional and had great customer service. They were very understanding with my indecisiveness and gave me a lot of great options. I felt very good about my choice to go with A Bias Delights.

When it came time to choose my cake flavor, I was overwhelmed with the great choices. If I had one complaint, it would be that I wish there was a bigger selection of flavors to choose from. Regardless, the cake and cupcakes we’re delicious. Our cake was moist and flavorful. The cupcakes were just the right size and had a delicious flavor.

Fast forward to our wedding day, our cake/ cupcakes were just what we wanted. Simple, elegant, beautiful and DELICIOUS! Our guests loved the cake and cupcakes and there was not much left over.

Overall, I loved my experience and would recommend Gayle and A Bias Delights to anyone looking for a good cake baker! Thank you Gayle and team!
