When I first decided to get married on the mainland, I knew immediately that I wanted a cake from Bueno Diaz. I have been a fan of their cakes for years. So I called and I ordered a cake tasting. When I arrived, there were plenty of options to choose from. We chose to have a cake made with 2 flavors, guava and white velvet. For the cake, we chose a cake with white velvet and fresh strawberry filling, covered in fondant and then decorated with a butter cream exterior. The exterior had script lettering and a little fondant flower. The cake was perfect. It was 4 layers and very, very delicious. We also ordered a cake topper (which we gave to them for safekeeping) and a cake stand. The day before my wedding, the cake and accessories were delivered to the ferry landing in Port Aransas. The ferry took me and my husband to the mainland where we were married. The cake was set up beautifully on a sturdy cake stand. The cake and the top were delicious. Bueno Diaz did a great job.

We first met the team at the highly recommended Flour Power for Desserts Salon. They had a small cake tasting, which we loved! We were so excited to find such an awesome bakery that does cake tasting and designs cakes! We were able to pick 3 cakes of our choice, and had our tasting set up for us. They were extremely professional and took notes on what we wanted for our cake. We chose 3 different cakes and ended up having 3 different flavors. We were so excited and happy with the cakes and how they were decorated. We were able to email them anytime with any questions or concerns, which was a plus! They also worked with us for our budget cake. We were so happy and pleased with our cakes, which we got to enjoy this past weekend! :) Thanks to the team, and we will definitely use them again!

This is the fastest wedding cake I have ever had! My husband and I had a hard time picking flavors for our cake, so the owner offered to make us five different cupcakes… we got five different flavors and it was absolutely amazing!!! The cake was delicious and I loved the decoration and the fact that they made our wedding cake bigger than the top of the building and it still didn’t cost us an arm and a leg. I think they did a wonderful job decorating it and everything was so easy and quick, I didn’t have to worry about not having enough cake for everyone.

They also offered to make us a cake for our one year anniversary. Who needs gifts when you can eat some delicious cake! (Chocolate with cream cheese and cookies and cream filling… YUM!) I can’t wait, I might just order a cake now and have it for our anniversary.

The ladies there are so nice and helpful, five stars for sure!
