When we first met with Amanda she asked us many questions about our cake vision. She asked us about the size of our wedding, our colors, and other visual details. She also asked us about our taste, and how we envisioned our cake. She took all of this information, and our cakes looked absolutely amazing. She even made a cake that had a gold sparkle, and it was exactly what we wanted. She worked well with our florist, and our cakes were not only gorgeous, but delicious. We were so excited for our cakes, that we didn’t even wait to eat our cake topper before eating our cake! We both prefer buttercream over fondant, and Amanda let us sample as many different buttercream flavors as we desired. She has many different types to choose from. We ended up going with almond buttercream with a white chocolate ganache. It was delicious. I was impressed with her attention to detail and her wide variety of flavors. I highly recommend going to her for a cake tasting!

This was the BEST cake I have ever tasted in my life! I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best cake I have ever had. We had chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling (my favorite), peanut butter cake with chocolate ganache filling, and red velvet with cream cheese filling. We also had a special request for a rose and raspberry filling for one layer and regular raspberry filling for the other. (We love raspberry) It was so delicious there was no way we could pick our favorites. We ended up mixing the flavors around to make a different flavor for each layer. We got all three flavors and they were all delicious! The cake was more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was so beautiful I felt bad cutting into it. I had a hard time picking the colors we wanted for the decor, but it was so pretty I had to use bold, bright colors and it still matched the wedding. I also had a special request for a chocolate groom’s cake. I found a photo of the groom’s favorite things on the internet and they made a chocolate replica of them and put it on top. It looked so real! It was a hit among the guests! We were so happy with this cake we ordered a second one as a birthday cake for one of our bridesmaid’s parents. They are going to love it as much as we did! The best part was that it was affordable and the vendor was so nice and helpful. I am so happy we found them. My husband and I are both from the Houston area, but got married in McKinney, so I wasn’t familiar with the area’s bakeries. My maid of honor, who lives in McKinney, told me about the Bradford Bakery. She was right! We had a great experience with the staff at Bradford. I came in with the idea of doing a cake bar, but didn’t know what I wanted. The staff at Bradford helped me narrow down my ideas to come up with a plan that would work for us. We decided on a variety of cupcakes, cookies and bars in different sizes and shapes. We were able to select as many flavors as we wanted, and the staff made sure that all of the flavors were represented. We got so many compliments from our guests on the cupcakes. It was great to know that we could pick up the cupcakes ourselves to take home with us after the wedding, or we could have one of the staff members at our reception venue put some of the leftover cupcakes in a box for us to take home. I would definitely recommend Bradford Bakery to a friend.
