Oh my goodness…the wedding cake was AMAZING!!! We fell in love with Betty at our cake tasting, we knew she was the one to do our cake :) we had a great meeting with her and she listened to everything we wanted and then some! She was very helpful with ideas and suggestions and we felt like she was also a friend/family member who wanted to help us make our dream cake! The flavors were to die for and we had a hard time deciding on just one! She was very helpful in allowing us to have different flavors in different layers…we loved the idea of our top layer being our regular flavor and our lower layers were the special flavors! We are not even going to be able to wait til our 1 year to eat the cake topper…we ate it at 1 week because we were that excited! The decoration was exactly what we wanted…we gave her a few pictures and we got just what we wanted! We also had cupcakes done from Betty and we still have people commenting on how beautiful they were and how delicious they were! Thank you Betty for everything you did to make our cake dreams come true! You are the BEST!

Where to even start. I decided about 2 months to this wedding being two months away, began the very tedious task of looking for a cake designer. I found a beautiful cake design I wanted, but asked if they could do with only 3 tiers, as my cake topper was going to be very heavy. They said no problem. I then asked if I could send them a picture of my cake topper so they could get an idea of what I was talking about. Once again, no problem. The picture was sent and I then waited anxiously for the very long e-mail response telling me they were able to make my cake with only 3 tiers. It came, and it was amazing. However, I still felt bad for the wait, as I then asked if they could do $100 off the $250 minimum, as my wedding was on a budget. Their response was amazing too, as they dropped the $100 right off of the $250 minimum! Once I had everything in writing, I sent it back to them, and requested a cake tasting. Once again, no problem! My mom, uncles and I went down to Betty Jane’s one Sunday and tried EVERYTHING they had. It was delicious, and we all had a very hard time deciding what to get. I decided to get a 3 tier cake, with two different flavors, along with my husband’s favorite, as we were trying to save as much money as possible. When we went to try the cake, they dropped it right off the cake plate at the table, and told us to help ourselves. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, and all the cake we could have wanted or imagined. We were able to have our two favorite cakes, and it was all delicious. They even dropped the cake tasting fee off of the $250 minimum! When the day of the wedding came, I was a little bit stressed out, as I was getting ready. However, I was able to go downstairs to see my cake, and it was everything I could ever want. It was absolutely beautiful, and it was going to be exactly what I wanted, without me even saying it! When I finally got to see it in person, I was so happy, I was really able to see the cake I was talking about in my head. It was better than I could ever imagine! We got so many compliments on the cake. When people got close to it, they would usually just stand there and stare. It was just so beautiful. People would tell me they loved it, and are just so happy to have had it at their wedding. It was everything I could ever want, and more! When it was time to cut the cake, my husband and I just stood there, as we didn’t even want to cut it. However, after a second, we both just walked up to it, and were able to cut our cakes deeply in love, with no regrets. The cake was everything I could ever want, and more. I loved my cake, and so did my husband. It was delicious, and looked exactly how it was supposed to look. When it was time to eat it, I walked up to it, and my husband was able to eat his whole piece, as I only was able to get the slice off of his plate. When I finally was able to eat my cake, it was just as delicious as I remembered from when we tried it at the shop. My cake was everything I could ever want, and more. My husband and I ate our cake, and were in love with it all over again! It was everything it was supposed to be, and more. When I look at pictures of my cake, I still cannot believe how it turned out. It was better than I could ever imagine. It was everything I could ever want, and more! I loved my cake, and so did my husband. It was delicious, and looked exactly how it was supposed to look. When it was time to eat it, I walked up to it, and my husband was able to eat his whole piece, as I only was able to get the slice off of his plate. We got married on June 7th, and everything was all set for cake and the venue when I received a call from Janie that read something like “I’m sorry but I need to change some things on your cake because it’s not going to be the right flavor or the right filling in every layer.” I was in shock, and of course worried that I would now have to change all of my plans that were already set. After talking to her I found out she was just confused because I had originally wanted red velvet cake with cream cheese filling but then I changed my mind to get a buttercream cake with hazelnut filling. Of course that’s what I wanted! So we made a new plan of getting a half sheet of each and we decided the wedding cake would still be a three tiered cake with buttercream frosting and then a hazelnut filling. At this point I couldn’t get enough of a plan just to sit and eat hazelnut chocolate cake! I was so excited and we still had a year to wait for this cake! We went on with our day and I forgot about the whole thing! My family was eating dinner and I told them the whole story of the cake I was thinking about and we decided we were going to go get the cakes that weekend! We got to the store and Janie sat down with us and brought out the biggest piece of cake I had ever seen (it was a half sheet cake) and we talked about what flavor we wanted and why. She showed us the different fillings we could get and we tasted them! I couldn’t believe that we were going to get our hazelnut chocolate cake with buttercream frosting! We decided to go with raspberry filling and it was so delicious! The cake was the plan that we had made before but it was even better because now we were getting the plan that we wanted! I love this cake place so much now! On top of that they are giving us a free cake on our 1 year anniversary! It was everything we had dreamed of and more! Janie and her team are so talented and I can’t say thank you enough! I would pick this place to do my birthday cake every year!
