Michelle at the Blue House Bakeshop was amazing. We had a tasting with her a few months before the wedding and were able to select a few of their most popular flavor combinations for our tasting. She showed us a picture of our vision (a cake with a topographical map of Vermont on it) and helped us pick the best location for our cake from a few pictures she had. We actually ended up using 2 flavors for our 4-tiered cake: Maple Bacon and Brown Butter Le Moine. Both were delicious! I’m usually not a big fan of wedding cake, but I loved it! It had the right amount of maple and toffee, and it was just sweet enough to be lovely but not so sweet that it was sickening.

On the day of the wedding, they delivered the cake and decorated it beautifully with flowers from our florist and with some greenery we brought. We also had French macarons as our favors (a local food ingredient we couldn’t resist!) and they were delicious! Everything was perfect!

We are so happy to have had the chance to work with the team at Blue House Bakeshop. They were very responsive to our questions, gave us great ideas for our big day, and on the day of, brought our visions to life with incredible quality. We ordered a naked cake with fruit in a syrup-like sauce that was to die for! Our guests raved about how good it was, and how beautiful the cake was.

We did a lot of tasting and selecting for our cake flavors, filling, and frosting. All of it was so good, it was hard to make a decision. We ended up going with a banana cake with blueberry filling and cream cheese frosting. YUM.

We were so happy to find little touches that they included in our order. They put a little candle made of sugar that we could use as our cake topper, and decorated with our flowers. It was so thoughtful!

Couldn’t say enough great things about them. We would recommend them for any couples looking for a great cake, and we hope to work with them again in the future. Thanks Blue House Bakeshop!

I can’t say enough great things about the Blue House Bakeshop!! They were the last bake shop I did a taste testing with, but the moment I tasted their cake, and looked at their pictures of what they could do, I knew I had to book them! The cakes are beautiful, but it’s the flavors that are so great. They have so many different flavors and combinations of flavors, it’s so fun to pick what you want for your cake! The team at the Blue House knows what they are doing, and were so helpful as I planned my wedding cake. They were very responsive to my emails, and were great as we got closer to the wedding to confirm details and plan out the cake. They even helped me surprise my fiance when I picked up the cake by adding some of his favorite beers into the tasting punch, it was such a great way to start a marriage with a surprise! On the wedding day, the cake was stunning, and even better, it tasted amazing. We got so many compliments on how great the cake tasted, and everyone wanted to know the name and contact of the shop so they could try the flavors! People said it was the best wedding cake they had, and I have to agree! Thank you Blue House Bakeshop!!
